Your retrofit looks amazing! Props to sickhids for another FIRST to do a retrofit on the DJ. Well first with great after pictures and video.

I'm very much interested in a retrofit myself... will any of you brave souls be doing a pic/video write up on it to help out?

I'll do a write up when I finish, I just don't know when that will be yet. I'm thinking October sometime it gets dark faster for adjusting.

Nice to see some interest in this thread. I was looking at the TYC but with shipping was $250 + tax+ dollar difference was around the $300 mark. I'm still debating about spending that much. I have the Rallye also and if I do get the TYC lights I'm going to paint them black to match. I have everything for my retro except for extra lights and time.

Just the fogs and park lights on. I never measured the height of the fogs yet but I do think I have to raise them up a bit.

I just installed the new XB LED fog lights from TRS.

They turned out great, I'll be doing a how to in the next few weeks.

I got my DJ last week and I cannot believe how sharp the cutoff is for a halogen headlight.

Can you take a picture of a wall around 30 feet away? I just want to see how much light scatter there is above the cutoff.

I have one planned and have everything I need except the new housings... I'm planning on getting it going early this summer...

I think the MH1 would be an easy install with none or very little trimming on the light housing. The only problem I see would be filling the space between the back of the shroud and the bowl on the light housing. The bowls might be deep enough to hide that space also though.

I'm curious if a 2.5" FX-R projector would fit in there, I think it might but it would be tight.

I think finding the extra housings at a decent price will also be a challenge.

I've been wine making since 2002 (fruit wine kits). I just got into beer making 2 years ago 2012. I use good quality beer kits. I know beer kits aren't the same as all grain, but I like them and I'm picky about beer. I'm just starting a strawberry blond, first time I'm using fruit. I made myself a 6 keg kegerator and skipped the bottles also. I'm also trying meads but they take a year to age so I'm not sure how there are yet. I also own a Bradley smoker that I use. The last thing I smoked was a prime rib roast with Jim Beam oak smoke.

Did anyone attempt to do a projector retrofit on a DJ? The pictures above are the only ones I seen done, I couldn't find any other info.

Is there still interest in doing a projector retrofit?

Just some background on me. I was the first that I know that did a FX-R projector retrofit in a 04-08 F-150, and did a HOW TO.

I also did a MH1 projector retrofit in my 96 dodge caravan.

I'm looking at getting a 2014 DJ R/T, the first mod I'm looking at is a projector retrofit.
