  1. ooo sorry, in the UK we use the word RIM, thanks for your kind info
  2. Hi, as i can't see anything in the User Manual, I wanted to know the original rim size on the car Dodge Journey SXT?
  3. Hi All, I need to buy a new rim for my Dodge Journey SXT 2009 but I can't find anything in the user manual with regards to what size I should buy and I don't know what size is on thereon but they are the originals. My tyre sizes are 225/65R17 102H, just not sure what rims size I should buy? Someone mentioned 17'' but does this mean any 17'' rim? Many MANY thanks
  4. Hi Fols, currently have 225/65 R17 any idea how big I can go? maybe a silly question but I don't know!! thanks
  5. Just an update on these fobs....my car is part of a RECALL!!!!! Now have to take to the dealer 'THE WIRELESS IGNITION NODE MODULE MAY HAVE UNINTENTIONAL MOVEMENT OF THE FREQUENCY OPERATED BUTTON IGNITION KEY (FOBIK) FROM THE ON TO THE ACCESSORY POSITION WHILE DRIVING' THANK YOU SO MUCH 'BFURTH' ONCE AGAIN, if it wasn't for YOU i would not have known this....!!!
  6. Hi dhh3, thanks for your reply. I have 2 fobs and both the keys unlock the doors, it's just one of the fobs does not work to unlock or close. I'm thinking if i get a new fob (maybe off Ebay!) would i be able to program it? they are saying if i have 2 working fobs i can program the third one, after all they are both working to start the engine up..do you think may work? thanks so much
  7. HI all, one last thing, does it mean the key is programmed to the car as it does start the engine? t's just the fob which doesn't work by unlocking or locking? many many thanks
  8. Hi All, Dodge Journey SXT 2009 I already have a problem with my second fob not working, may need a new one altogether. However, before my only one fob comes apart, i need to change the case and rubber bits and chip, transfer them over to a new case. Anyone have any idea how to do this, any special tips? would my existing metal key fit inside the new case? Many thanks for any help
  9. ok thanks. is there anyway i can change just the shell/case of the fob as the key is working fine? many thanks
  10. Well, I opened the car with the working remote and then i used the second remote to start the car and it worked! so that's good but it won't open or unlock? any ideas what it could be? the second remote looks brand new...never used...could it be a question of reprogramming it? many thanks
  11. Hi All, I purchased my Used Dodge Journey 2009 a year ago in the UK. I'm really happy with it so far! However, when i purchased it I was given two Key remotes (RKE Transmitters) but I have only used one up until now. Today, I wanted to use the second one as the one I am using is becoming a little worn out on the rubber bits with the lock and unlock symbols. I put new battery in it and it does not work...I'm not sure if it's been programmed to the car. Can anyone kindly tell me if there is anyway of finding out if this second remote is programmed to the car? perhaps a silly question, but I don't want to insert it in the engine and then mess everything up! Thanks so much
  12. Thanks so much, found on Ebay
  13. Hello, I'm a new Dodge Owner and so far it's been really good to be an owner of it. Only one thing, I just found out the rechargable light does not work and I discovered this after a long journey from the Uk to Italy without any problems! Does anyone know where I can get a new one or used? many thanks
