  1. just finished doing a minor body mod to my 2009 journey. its been a while since iv posted or done anything to the vehicle. in the after picture my windows are down Before After
  2. yeah i did that. awesome tho im loving the site.
  3. thanks to your site i found out i had an open recall on my vehicle that i wasnt aware of. nice feature btw.
  4. i prefer pumpkin pie can i has it on that kind of pie?
  5. yup i made sure i had the append \r\n turned on and first did STP31 > and hit enter then it just gave me a question mark on the screen then i typed ATSH1C0 and hit enter then it said ok on the screen then i would type out the 69AA37901100 or other codes and hit enter then it would just return back can error.
  6. so i tried your codes using bluetooth terminal the STP31 gives me a question mark, then when i enter in ATSH1C0 it says ok. but the all the other codes say can error. when entered. like 69AA37901100, 21746C901100. i thought maybe i had to type with upper case i tried that and same thing. not sure if my codes are different being as mine is an 09 journey or what but who knows.
  7. hey hawtdogflvrwtr not sure if you got the error code thing fixed but i know on my 09 journey if you unplug the cable going to the airbox sensor it throws an error code when starting the car. not sure if its different on the 2012 but its easy to get to as it should be right on the airbox. also do you know if your codes will work on older journeys i have the factory fobs with remote start built into them. i added a bluetooth obd2 reader to my car that i can connect to if the car is in aux mode via my cell phone and use torque to read rpm and engine codes but nothing to start it via my phone.
  8. dhh3 i havnt had a chance to yet as i'm in camp till thursday but will be able to after then.
  9. Nope if memory serves me right it should be a plastic tapered pin that will pull out of a rubber grommet and sorry its not a 1/4" socket its a 8mm socket to remove them
  10. When you open the back hatch on the side there should be two bolts I believe they are 1/4" (if memory serves me correct). Once out they should just pull up away from the door
  11. The interour lights are all good thanks tho
  12. I hate to be a pain but would you be able to take a picture of the connectors of the tail lights that are in the rear hatch. I don't need the third brake light connector. Thanks again dhh3
  13. Thanks for the info when I get home I will check my connectors and see if they match yours and if they do I'll probs pull the trigger on getting the led tails
  14. Thanks for the info when I get home I will check my connectors and see if they match yours and if they do I'll probs pull the trigger on getting the led tails
  15. You wouldn't happen to be able to take a pic of the connector to see if it matches mine. And thanks for the info that just made my night and will probs order some tails here pretty soon if your connector is similar
  16. has anyone installed a T-body on a 3.5L and does anyone know if the 71mm ported T-Body from modern muscle will fit. it shows that it will fit the 3.5L but when i select my vehicle with that engine it says it wont fit. this is the T-body i'm looking at http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-7L-3-5L-V6-Dodge-Chrysler-LX-Throttle-Body-CNC-Ported-/290892847201?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ba909861&vxp=mtr TIA
  17. looks great, where did you get the red covers for everything or are those stock just painted ?
  18. so i know people on this forum have been looking for a CAI kit for the 3.5L journey and i think i just found one. i was crusiing ebay and stumbled across this. it deff has peaked my intrest. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2009-2010-2011-2012-Dodge-Journey-3-5L-Performance-Motor-Air-Intake-Engine-Kit-/221476798280?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2009%7CMake%3ADodge%7CModel%3AJourney%7CSubmodel%3ASXT&hash=item33910bbf48&vxp=mtr&_uhb=1
  19. Actually Bramfrank you can use HID's on the high beams it just requires having a DRL Relay which you plug into the your stock harness then into the HID Ballast and it will allow the HID's at half power for DRL's
  20. yeah im not to sure. i do know the connector is different and theres been a few "rumors" of the led style ones not fitting on the regular bulb ones but from looking at them (without taking it off and test fitting) they look almost identical in shape so i dont see why they wouldnt fit. back to the wiring. like i said the connector is a bit different but i figure if they are similar i could just splice off the old bulb style connector and wire on the new style connector if the cables are the same. but i would have to see the connecting cables from a led style tail light assembly to be sure.
  21. i gave that a try but it seems google thinks im talking about a trailer hitch even after modifying the search to be more specific about the brake lights on the vehicle.
