  1. Hello everyone, Ive spent lots of time in my 2010 Journey this last Christmas and New Years. I drove 3,500 miles in the last 2 weeks. I drove from Colorado Springs Colorado to Riverside California and while I was visiting I also drove to Mexico for the day. Then drove around Los Angeles and back to Riverside. After my vacation was about over I then drove back to Colorado Springs Colorado. I had no problems and I had a blast in my Journey while on my Journey!!! Tell us about your road trip.
  2. Thanks jkeaton for that fix. I didnt know how to fix it. Your floor mats look good too.
  3. No they are not Carpeted but they look like they are. They are very easy to clean, just spray off with a water hose or a Hi Pressure hose and that's it. Just like cleaning the Weather Tech ones.
  4. I have found a FANTASTIC alternative to Weather Tech floor mats. I purchases a set of front and second row in black and WOW! They fit great and the quality is 2nd to none and they are less expensive than Weather Tech. Ive had them for about a month now and it has snowed a lot here. I took them out today to clean them and no water or anything has gone through them. They cost me $89.00 per row. The 3rd row and the small cargo area behind the 3rd row seats I was told will be available in late January 2014. Here is a link to their wabsite but they dont sell directly to the public so you will need to get them from Amazon or autoanything.com http://www.ariesautomotiveinterior.com/3D-Floor-Liners_FrontRear.htm
  5. Ive have Aries floor mats and they are costume made just like Wheathertech. The quality and fit is Fantastic and they are less expensive than Weathertech. They DO make the smaller rear cargo area behind the 3rd row however they are on back order at this time. Here is a link to their website but they dont sell directly to the public so you will need to go through Amazon or the place I got mine from was autoanything.com http://www.ariesautomotiveinterior.com/3D-Floor-Liners_FrontRear.htm
  6. I just bought a set of New Blizzak DM-V1 235/55/19's so far they are fantastic, they have lots of grip in the snow here in Colorado. Ive read some reviews and the only bad thing is they wear out quickly when the weather is above 45 degrees. I plan on putting my all Kumho's back on when it gets warmer.
  7. Not sure if you like the BlackTop version.....Have you seen it? It looks sweet. When I bought mine used back in June 2013 I didnt know about the BlackTop version. But thats ok cause Im having fun customizing mine to look semi BlackTop. I still need to do a few more things to get it to the way I really want. Good luck and welcome.
  8. Nice!!! I hope you got what you were asking for them. Did you have to ship them or did you sell them locally? Was the buyer from the forum?
  9. It depends on how heavy of a load your wanting to tow but I also have a 2010 Journey and it cant tow to much of a load anyways so I would think all you would need is a hitch and lights set up. I put a hitch on mine but I only use it for one of those outside metal baskets cause there isnt much room inside when you have the 7 passenger set up.

    Interior LED's

I have a 2010 Journey and I changed all my interior bulbs to regular LED's and they didnt work. I brought them back and tried the Canbus kind and they all worked perfect. So I would think that the new Journeys would need the Canbus kind. I also did my License Plate.....it looks real good. Im still working on all my other outside lights.
  11. Looks great really like the 22's. Have you posted them in the Classified section here on the Forum?
  12. I would think that someone that either doesnt have a Black Top and wants their Journey to look like a Black Top would want your wheels or someone that wants an extra set with winter tires on them would want them. Given that you can get brand new similar wheels in black for about $125.00 each wheel and new tires for about $175.00 each. Yours are lightly used so in my opinion I would try to get $700.00 to $800.00 for the set. Post them for sale here in the forum. I would think you would sell them faster here. Im sure a Journey Forum owner would want them. When you get new wheels and tires please show us a picture. I looked on ebay for black SRT 8 wheels 22" and the link bellow shows lots of options. There are many on this link bellow that I think would look great on your Journey. Good Luck. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=Black+SRT8+Wheels&_osacat=33743&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.XBlack+SRT8+Wheels+22&_nkw=Black+SRT8+Wheels+22&_sacat=33743
  13. Im so very sorry to hear that. I know what your going through. I just went through the same thing with mine just last month. I hope you find a great body shop to do your work for you. It should be your choice which Shop to use for the repairs. Can we see before and after pictures?
  14. Thank You. I dont think there are any mods available yet for yours but you can get an exhaust system and a K&N air filter. I got the Magna Flo system. I like it alot. Its not noisy but it did give it just a little sound and it helps the system to breath better. My tips I had them put on are black, I didnt want any chrome.
  15. Not after all the performance Mod's ive done to it. Mine's just as fast if not faster and it looks cooler than yours.
  16. Looks Fantastic, I love it!! Good Job. Ive added so much to mine and Im still doing more.
  17. This isnt in your area but I thought I would pass it along anyways. I live in the same area and Ill even go check it out for you if you want. This person has been trying to sell it for a while now. I believe it will fit yours. Its inexpensive enough to try. I would check first to see if it will fit. I hope it works out for you. Click on the link bellow to see it. http://cosprings.craigslist.org/pts/4124673447.html
  18. Welcome, do you have any modification plans for it?
  19. Sorry it took me so long to get you this picture.
  20. From the album: DTSGUY's Journey

After Plasti Dip. I forgot to take a before picture but im sure most of you know what it looked like before with the silver center.
  21. Thank You, it ended up costing me about $125.00 per wheel. Just doing the powder coating was $100.00 per wheel.
  22. I know exactly what you mean about it eating me alive. Ive had mine for 3 months and Ive dumped well over $1,000.00 into it and im still not done. I just did my interior LED Lighting, it looks great. I also did the license plate lights too. I still need to do the rest of the exterior lighting. Its hard for me to stop.
  23. Would love to see some pictures when you get it. What makes it a "Plus"?
  24. I did it with Plasti Dip. I removed the part from my Journey and the only prep that I did was I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol. I didnt sand it because I wasnt sure if I would want to keep it like that but now that I like it Im gonna leave it like that. If it peels on its own then Ill do something more permanent. I also did the Grey dashboard and it looks fantastic. I hated the grey.
