Yes, calipers changed about 2/3 of the way through the 2012 model year - the calipers and discs were made larger because of complaints about premature wear and warping on the earlier Journeys. The new calipers precluded the use of 16" wheels, which had previously been supplied on the base model vehicles.

As to the Crossroad having it's own unique caliper?  I don't know and can't comment, though it could be as simple as them being painted a different color.

I did see that the calipers changed in 2012 and my journey has the larger calipers since it was made in November 2011. As for the calipers being painted that has nothing to do with the rims rubbing on the caliper. I took off enough paint to see if that could be the issue and it was not it, what sucks now is I have to touch up the paint on my caliper.

Learned something new.  The Crossroads have their own specific front calipers.  I'd be curious to see what the difference is.

I did some research today and found something very interesting. According to the mopar part site the front caliper part number's changed after 2012, so now I'm wondering what difference did they make on the calipers that were made 2013-2015.

Hello, thanks for your response, those are the same lights I just bought.  and you are saying the bulbs weren't bright enough?  I thought they were the projector bulbs and would be plenty bright?  Maybe I should change the bulbs as well before installing.  And I figured the led were just the turn signals.

Hello, when I matched the bulbs that came with it they have the yellow color to them and when I changed to the Sylvania zXe bulbs I had a much clearer white light. The bulbs that come with them are made by AU-lite which I never heard of, also once installed you will need to do the adjustment to level you headlights out. You can find the bulbs on amazon much cheaper, you will need to get the H7 low beams and H1 high beams if you do change them.

  4. The dealership could not get the rims to mount on the front they did rub on the calipers. They had no clue why they rub but they checked the part numbers and found out the crossroad front calipers have a different part number. I will keep doing my research on this maybe find a crossroad and do my own measurements.

  5. I just replaced my headlight assemblies and I did have to pull on the bumper to get them out. I did put a thin layer of tape on the bumper so it didn't get scratched, it does take some patience to get them out but they will come out. You will notice my headlights don't seem too bright but they are actually brighter than my OEM headlights. I did change the bulbs to the Sylvania zXe bulbs because the ones that came with it were not too bright. Also the amber light bar comes on only for the turn signals, I just had my hazards on at the time to show them working.

  6. I did get the 2015 crossroad rims and the tire shop said the caliper on the front would not let the rim sit properly. I did so much research and it does not make sense on what the tire shop said. The OEM 2012 19" rims have the exact measurement as the OEM ones I just bought. Long story short the dealer said the new rims will work so I will have them do the work. I'm hoping this works if not the seller will give me a full refund if it doesn't work.

  7. Hello, if you look at the post just a few posts above that is the light output you see. I did put better Sylvania bulbs in because the original bulbs were generic so the light output looks the same as the post above with the Sylvania bulbs. If you are still are interested in seeing my output I will take a photo of mine. As it stands I do like the new assemblies better than the OEM ones  and they look so much better.

Looks really great! Can you post a link from where uou bought them?

You can get them off of amazon. They have the choice of black of chrome. I just installed the black ones and the light output is way better than the OEM. I did install better bulbs and its even brighter, the cost is 370.00 for black and 350.00 for chrome.

  9. The 2012 SXT I bought is good all around except for the fuel gauges. I was traveling on the highway at a speed of 75 MPH when I ran out of gas. What sucks is the fuel gauge still showed just below 1/4 tank with no low fuel warning showing. Also my DTE showed 90 miles and when i did fill up I calculated that i still had 4 gallons left in the tank. I took it to dodge and they found nothing wrong. If anyone has had the same experience or any answer on why this may have happened please let me know.
