  1. I have not seen above 15 around town
  2. Yeah, gas mileage around town is less than desirable right now. Highway is much better.
  3. Keep us posted. Ours were smooth btw.
  4. I would hope so. I'll check mine this morning with all most the same mileage.
  5. video with sound would be nice to see. Can you post it?
  6. I have both a subaru wrx and a Journey and with good winter tires, the Journey does fine in the snow. Subaru are great and that is what they are known for. I have a fairly steep and winding driveway and the Journey makes it up that even with the TC on.
  7. Thanks and we sure will take some pictures.
  8. That's what we'll do then. Thanks.
  9. I have the huskey liners as well and they are a pain to get out without dumping a little melted snow on the carpet.
  10. It cracked the bumper in like 3 places, plate was knocked off and the whole thing is dislodged a bit. Luckily, no metal damage. Insurance is coming tomorrow. My wife turned onto our road and there was another car in the middle waiting to turn. My wife slammed on the brakes and the road was ice. She slid right into a Honda Pilot. The bumper needs replaced as well as the grill as it has a small crack in it. I guess Goss does body work?
  11. We had our first fender bender with our DJ. Just curious, do the bumpers come already painted from the factory or are they all one color and than need to be painted at a body shop? It looks like the bumper is all one color although ours is Grey and all the bumpers could be a grey plastic already and then painted??
  12. The 2012 rears you can get but they don't have the fronts as my dealer said something about the front bumpers are new this year?
  13. Awfully big door on the J's I think. Will try the white lithium grease.
  14. Just wondering if anyone is experiencing squeaking, clunk sound as they are closing the door? It acts as it is catching a little on the hinge and it makes a clunk, grind sound as it passes the point on the hinge. No, I haven't tried grease yet.
  15. Sorry to hear that. I hope I have better luck with mine.
  16. We were in the market for a new vehicle and since my grandfather retired from Chrysler, it was a no brainer for us in terms of money. The Journey was our best deal. We got the crew with leather and sunroof, msrp was around 32,950 and we got it for 26,711. However, we wouldn't have bought the car if we didn't like it even though we knew we would have to spend a lot more on another brand. I agree, if you are looking for a nice 7 passenger crossover, take a look at a Journey. You won't be disappointed. BTW, what plant did your dad retire from? My grandfather retired in '83 from the plant in DE.

Just received the black front and back huskies and they fit and look great in my grey crew.
  18. We purchased our '12 crew just before Christmas and love it thus far. Welcome.
  19. That would be nice. Although I went 4 or 5 miles before the car realized I didn't have my 19's on and the light started to flash. lol
  20. Oh well, I will just live with the light on for a few months. I knew the deal was too good to be true but I think I still made out o.k.
  21. These tires I have, came with the sensors that I picked up from a former Journey owner and the light came on and it is not reading the tire pressure.
  22. I filed down the calipers and the wheels fit and no rubbing. All is good. Thanks. Didn't have to ground off too much.
  23. did the 2009's have different type of calipers I wonder?
  24. I bought a set of 17 inch rims and tires from a guy who owned a 2009 Journey. I put them on this morning and the wheel rubs onto the outside edges of the brake calipers and when I went for a test ride, the rims was taking small metal shavings from the caliper. My question is, can I file down the edge of the caliper to clear the wheel?. I remember seeing this somewhere before but wasn't sure. Thanks in advance.
