  1. Congrats and enjoy your new crew.
  2. still do. It's a 2007 with 120,000 miles. It needs a rear drive shaft and an inner tie rod. Dealer wants 1000 bucks for a new one but I found a used one for 150.00 with a 1 yr warranty. It has been a good car and I plan on driving it until there is nothing left but a greasy spot. Of course, it is no wrx but it makes a nice commuter car. Your Journey looks great and the sx4 you owned looks good too.
  3. Has anyone applied any kind of 3M protective film on either their bumpers, hood or rocker panels. I know of companies who sell kits to protect the paint. I once tried to put a kit on my subie wrx but failed and had to tear it off. I have used this before to protect my rocker panels on my suzuki sx4. Thinking of doing the same on our Journey and wondered if anyone else has used it. http://www.amazon.com/Trimbrite-BodyGuard-Clear-Smooth-Protection/dp/B000HNFCHQ/ref=pd_sim_auto_1
  4. I see on your avatar that you have a bug deflector. Did you get that at the dealer or buy it somewhere else? Also, have you ever used that 3m clear protection film? I am thinking of putting it on my rocker panels. These salt and sand roads do a number on the rocker panels. http://www.amazon.com/Trimbrite-BodyGuard-Clear-Smooth-Protection/dp/B000HNFCHQ/ref=pd_sim_auto_1
  5. I would have liked the 8.4 too although the smaler one is o.k too and does what we need .....but we needed a car soon as our wrx wasn't passing inspection because of the catalytic converter.
  6. I hope it wasn't the one I bought from the lot. lol
  7. Just got home from our first road trip. Needless to say, very impressed thus far. Set cruise at 75mph and the engine clicked along for the most part around 1,800 rpms. Quiet cabin and overall great ride. My inlaws have a Hyundai Vera cruz limited and our Crew awd with leather and 4.3 touch screen matches up very well with their car in terms of fit and finish. I am happy so far.
  8. The tires had about 5000 miles on them with the tpms sensors, dealer installed. They ended up putting 235 65 r17 on American Racing ATX black rims. Real nice looking. I was also able to dicker him down to 500. I made out for sure. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=ATX&wheelModel=Assault&wheelFinish=Black+w/Mach+Lip&partnum=AX3247882BML
  9. Welcome. I just bought a new Crew. Sticker was 32, 995 US, came with leather, sunroof and the chrome rims, and I was able to get it for 26, 900. I thought I got a good deal but yours ain't looking too shabby either.
  10. What did you get in yours and if you don't mind telling me your winter tire set up? I found some 17's and tires that came off another Journey and the guy wants 600 bucks. The rims are alloy and tires are Dunlop winter sp's. Yeah, I haven't seen any other Journey on the roads either. They don't know what they are missing. I am really digging the 3.6 engine. I am coming from driving a wrx and I am satisfied with the power with this car.
  11. East Montpelier. You? Where did you buy yours? I got mine at Goss Dodge.
  12. Just wanted to introduce myself to this message board. Just bought a Storm grey pearl crew with heated leather and sun roof. I was able to get EP pricing as my grandfather was a retired Chrysler employee. So far so good with it so far. About ready to buy 17 inch rims and snow tires as these 19's won't cut it here in Vermont. I didn't realize how expensive these tires are going to be when they have to be to replaced. I going to need a co-signer....
