    Just as a reminder to all: 2.4l and 2.7l requires 5W20 and the 3.5l is 10W30.
    Warbird: sounds like you enjoyed 'exploring' under the block. Doing it yourself is a great idea if you are comfortable with it. That way you can tell if something is amiss from the last time you crawled under and you can deal with it or least report it to the dealer.

    I have a 2009 SXT. Blocker heater power cord is folded and tied with a twist tie and tucked into the driver's side front corner either above headlamp or next to fuse box.

    I have posted elsewhere on this forum relative to towing large weights. For a 6 cyl 3.5 l I have had no issues hauling 3500 lbs of trailer with two adults and a dog. Yes gas consumption increases and why wouldn't it. With the proper distribution and draw bar set up (load leveling) you will have no problem towing your boat as described. That is providing of course you are not powered by the 4 cyl. Check out the hauling and towing section for further info.
