I purchased a Curt class II hitch and it was rated for 3500 lbs and 350 lbs of tongue weight.(Stamped on hitch). I installed this myself with some help from my 9 year old son. I prefer this hitch since its was a direct bolt in install with no cutting of the bumper and has a better load rating than the mopar hitch. I am currently towing a 14.5 foot runabout with a 50hp Evinrude and it pulls great!

I have ordered one of these intake resonator delete tubes for myself from RPM Motorsports to found out if there really is any type of gain considering some folks say there is a gain. I will be doing a MPG comparision before and after to see what the difference might be.  Worse case I will sell it to the nest guy who owns a Journey! LOL

Since the battery  was changed long ago I'm happy to say the car starts with the remote start without being plugged in fine even in temperatures as low as -30!  I think Interstate batteries work great. I even have one in my work truck which is a Ford E-150 and it starts great in the cold.

I recently traded in my 2010 Journey SXT for a 2015 Journey Blacktop with only 237km on it (demo unit). Love the upgraded interior and engine. Lots of power from the 3.6 VVT compared to the 3.5L and the total handling of the vehicle is much better than my 2010. My real question is that I received a recall notice about my 2010 witch was traded in about the steering issues in regards to the power steering hose and fluid cooler. Being that this applies to all models from 2009 to 2016 I believe this recall should be applied to my 2015 also. The 2015 Journey was purchased because it was still new on the lot and was given a major price cut!! ( win for me ). Let me know what you all think. Thanks.
