  5. the flexible seating group code AGV includes,... 160 amp alt 2nd row 40/60tilt n slide 3rd row 50/50 fold/recline air conditioning w/3 zone temp control easy entry seat system seat federal a/c excise tax gvw/payload rating rear air condioning with heater The premium convenience group code aam has this,... air conditioning atc w/dual zone control federal a/c excise tax heated front seats remote start system rr view auto dim mirror w/ microphone uconnect hands-free communication so if you have the 5+2 option you get the atc 3 zone or if you order the premium convenience group you get the dual zone atc yes the R/T comes with it from factory hope this helps on a side note, I am trying to get my printer to scan but it is off line for now. Once up, I will post them in the gallery or someplace so everyone can see them Rob
  6. also here is one with the ATC controls hope this helps you out Rob
  7. Here is the REU set up notice the radio is the 6 disc configure with navigation this is the same system with the backup camera functioning or you can get the touch screen RER without the navigation and you have this handy compartment. hope this helps out a bit Rob
  8. Hey Snow, with the 2 differnt MyGigs you have the regular touch screen RER radio without navigation and the 09 journey comes with a REU radio with navigation. The REU is exclusive to the Journey cause the screen sits too low (just ahead of the shifter) The REU has the navigation screen on top of the center console ontop of the dash. This is the way I wanted it and was glad to see this was the case for the Journey. I'll try and post some pictures............ On the hitch, I am going to wait to see if Hidden hitch comes out with something or even Reese. They do have a hitch but the hitch is hard to picture on the Journey. Also Draw-tite has one too Yes the Journey Has the ATC but I do not believe it is for the SE, I could be wrong about the SE but I know the SXT AWD has automatic tempurture control for both sides Be interesting to see how much the common wear parts are worth, be sure to post it when you find out Rob
  9. Hey Jack, PM me your e-mail address I can can send you the order form with all the codes as well as all the standard and option lists for the Journey SE SXT R/T in both FWD and AWD.its about 10 pages if I remember correctly. I got it from my dealer when we ordered ours. Same thing he had no brochures either. Rob
  10. Hey Roxanne, welcome to the forum I am glad to hear about another Journey lover how long for your order? Rob
  11. That is great that you got what you wanted Me, I wasn't so lucky. I left a $1000 deposit to let the dealership know I was serious about buying the Light Sandstone SXT AWD full load. They could not find one in Canada at all. Trust me he had tried very hard. There was one here in Alberta but no sunroof and I did not want to settle on that one. I had 2 dealers looking for me and only one was getting the deal. I went to the dealer, told him to do a factory order and ordered everything, a completely fully loasded SXT AWD but the smoker's group. I am sure I can get that on e-bay later alot cheaper ( an ashtray and a cig lighter). My fully loaded here in Alberta was $37,590 + the Gouge and Screw Tax (GST) and sold to me for just over $31,000 Very nice deal I think. We are buying cash so maybe that had something to do with the deal too. Rob
  12. Thank you Myboy. I seen it in a review at www.allpar.com great write up obviously if they were the only ones to mention it. OK, so here is another question,... How do you get it to slide? I want to be able to do this when the salesmen shows us ours and see if he knows about it. Thank you again Rob
  13. Hey all, as some may know here I have my Journey on order and found an article that says the armrest slides forward or back 3" for driver comfort. Can any owners confirm this. This is the first time I seen it mentioned in any review Rob
  14. Great topic Jack Edmonton Alberta Canada Light Sandstone SXT AWD loaded, pebble beige interior
  15. oh boy, WARRANTY!!!!!!! I called DAMNlerchrysler about that issue and also buying south of the border. The reason Chrysler doesn't offer the lifetime up here is cause "Canadians normally sell their cars more often or trade in. and offering the lifetime would be pointless" We have the 3yr 60,000km/ 5 year 100,000km warranty from factory but we can purchase different levels of warranties up to 7 years 160,000kms. Funny how we can't choose. I have my cars for YEARS and have to buy a to the nuts warranty Also a vehicle purchase in the states and registered (if you can get past the red tape) in Canada has NO WARRANTY. The big 3 are all that way. My RCMP buddy just bought a 2008 Ford Superduty for $72,000 same truck south of the border,.....48,000 almost worth running with no warranty Rob
  16. update, the new quote after talking to the insurance company,... full coverage SXT AWD Non R/T 5dr V6...........$704/yr 500ded for collision 250ded comp 2mil.plpd oh and 40+ yrs old now mind you I have 3 other vehicles insured with them as well
  17. the above is a shortened quote from another thread Hey Gold, how exactly do you split the video signal? Do you split from the head unit or the screen? Also is it just a matter of using RCA "y" to split the signal? I know a little about this kinda stuff but probably not as much as you by looking at your PT. Thank you Rob
  18. I anwsered in the other post for you. Also let us know any inside info about your order. Were you able to track it did the dealer let you know the status of your order, you know, stuff like that. Sure would be helpful Do you have your VIN yet? If you do the insurance company can tell you exactly what it will cost you for insurance Rob
  19. Hey BigJay, The insurance company I deal with could not give me a proper quote as it is a 2009 and he hasn't insured any yet. All you have to do is provide a VIN # from a journey and he can give you a more accurate quote. I have a vin # but havn't talked to him yet. I too am in Canada ( Alberta to be exact) I have 23 years of driving with no fault accidents and my last speeding ticket was about 8 years ago. The quote I got was "AROUND" $1150/yr insured to the nuts. Hope this helps you out Rob
  20. Hey Keith, Congrates on the order I'll bet you are like all of us that have ordered and just can't wait huh? You will have to let us know ( I am sure you will) as the order progresses and fill us in. Welcome to the forum fellow CDN B)
  21. yes sir, the key fob actually has a Valet key which slides out of the key fob. I didn't get a good look at it to see if another one could be cut. I do believe the dealer can get additional keys if need be. On a side note, that is the exact one I ordered too, Everything the SXT AWD can come with except the smoker's group. Where are you from? ahhhh GTA another Canadian, I'm from the Edmonton Alberta area. We ordered ours 1 week ago. Feels like a month already though. Rob
  22. Does anyone know what the bolt pattern of the new Journey is? I would be very interested to know if the wheels from the 2008 Caliber SRT4 would fit. I know the Journey has 19X7 wheels and the Caliber has 19X7.5 hmmmmmmmm I figured I would ask here in the proper section, I hate double posts but made it official here, Thank you Rob
  23. here is what I found so far.............. Mopar offers a Garmin-built GPS automotive navigation system as a dealer-installed option specifically designed for many of its 2005-2007 models. Named the Navus, the system is available for vehicles including the popular Chrysler 300C, Dodge Magnum, Charger, Dakota, Durango and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Navus provides premium automotive navigation capabilities -- including pre-loaded maps, an easy-to-use touchscreen interface and a high- resolution color TFT display, automatic route calculation, and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions -- at a price that is significantly less than most built-in systems. It is estimated that Dealers will be able to install the Navus in less than 30 minutes. The Navus is connected directly into the vehicle's bus interface, allowing it to interact seamlessly with other vehicle systems such as lighting and ignition control. The unit is incorporated atop the dashboard in clear view of the driver and passengers - providing a look and feel that that complements the interior of the automobile. If GPS signals are temporarily lost (due to skyscrapers or mountainous terrain), the system provides dead reckoning capabilities to assist in navigation. Buyers can choose pre-installed regional map data at a value price, or opt for comprehensive pre-installed map data of the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico on a single compact flash memory card. Each region features thousands of points of interest -- including lodging, restaurants, attractions, ATMs, gas stations, and nearby Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep dealers and service facilities. Features: Automotive grade, high-resolution 8-bit TFT color touchscreen interface that's easy to see in day or night Turn-by-turn voice prompted directions with high-quality audio Calculates shortest or fastest routes to addresses or points of interest Automatically recalculates a route if the driver misses a turn Drivers can tell Navus to avoid areas of construction or traffic tie-ups Navus will build a route with multiple stops -- ideal for sales calls, deliveries, or errands Connected directly into the automotive bus interface for seamless integration with other vehicle systems such as lighting and ignition Dead reckoning capabilities assist navigation if GPS signal is temporarily lost Optional remote control Price and availability (2005-2007 vehicles): The Navus system is available through Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealers. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) is $995.00 which now includes the 2GB database flash card that covers most of the U.S. and Canada. Mopar P/N 82209845. An optional remote control is also available, P/N 5179063AA (MSRP $102.00). When the Navus units were originally released they came without a flash card and retailed for $724.00 (P/N 82209540). There were 17 different 256MB cards available to cover the U.S. and Canada and each card was priced at $145.00. Or, one could buy the 2GB card that covered all areas for $299.00. The latest 2GB flash card (summer/fall 2006) is P/N 05175016AA with a MSRP of $235.00. New portable navigation unit (2008 vehicles): For 2008 vehicles Mopar is offering a new Garmin nüvi 250W portable navigation unit. Features include a 4.3 inch color touch screen, preloaded City street maps, a hefty points of interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more, and 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. P/N 82211580. MSRP: $499.00.
