    Journey SRT

ya Jack, the Journey fits us to a "T" I think Dodge hit the market right with the Journey....it's a good looking vehicle with plenty of performance at a very attractive price! You said exactly what I was thinking when we ordered ours. I love the SRT4 wheels on the Caliber B) I know they are 19X7.5 and the Journey is 19X7 but I wonder if the bolt pattern is the same hmmmmmmmm

    Journey SRT

Jack I haven't yet. The my sales guy said that it is a very popular car and alot of people are ordering what they want. If the Journey has alot of interest I think we will see a very interesting model in a couple years. just like the 2007 Sema show where they showed a 2007 Avenger with a 4.0L. Do a google image search and see what I mean,... "Dodge Stormtrooper" I love this car. I hate the name but again if there is enough interest, you never know. When I was first looking at the Journey and the salesguy said it was available in the R/T version, I was dissapointed to learn it had the 3.5 and not the 4.0L Rob
  4. I also have the chrome clad wheels as well. Like I mentioned above, everything I could get without the R/T and smokers group. I figure for resale if need be. I don't think we will ever part with the Journey as we keep our vehicles for a long time. Ya, I like the idea for 12 pack with ice hehehe. Hmmmm lets see, 2 hours to the lake lot and a dozen just cooling for the end of the trip, ahhhhhhhhhhh. I'll let you know as the order is progressing. I have a great friendship with the dealer so I am going to get as much "inside info" as possable. I have to call him today at 4 pm today and see if he has any additional info. Rob
  5. Hey buddy, I am checking the forum everyday for added members and replies,...cool I ordered the lightsandstone. Well that is what the wife wanted. She wanted it to match our truck. I also heard that it is 30gig. That is another reason for the nav. a 20 gig and nav only leaves about 8 gig left. Now 8 gig may be lots to some but heck if you are ordering and able to get 30 that will leave about 18gig for storage.
  6. this is what I found for the HDD for all your 4000+ songs lol HDD Menu While in HDD mode, press the MENU button to access the HDD Menu. Random Playback The random play function plays random tracks from the hard disk drive. Either check-mark Random to switch the random play function on or off, or check-mark Normal Play Order to turn Random playback off.
  7. here is what I found in the manual for the REU radio (the one with the navigation) and the joystick radio with the nav screen on top of the cosole,... Disc Menu While in disc mode with inserted audio disc, press the MENU button to access the Disc Menu. Check-mark Random to play the titles on the disc in random order. Check-mark Repeat to repeat the currently playing title. Check-mark Normal Play Order to play discs in normal order. Rob/HBT
  8. I just shorten the quote a little. I did take the SXT AWD out for a spin and it feel very good in the corners probably alot better than the town and country that I also was thinking of buying. I ordered the SXT AWD because it felt that good for road feel oh, and the wife likes it too Rob
  9. here are the major differences that I found,... full length floor console with premium arm rest instrument panel bright bezel leather shifter knob premium door trim panel vehicle information center bright door handles bright roof rails leather trimmed seats body color sill. I do believe that the body sill is the rocker panel at the very bottom of the Journey alot of these can be added from e-bay as it becomes more comon of a vehicle I hope this helps and I am sure others here can add to the list as well. I ordered the SXT AWD for the exact reason $2000 more for an R/T here in Canada Rob
  10. hey Journeyowner1 I too have just ordered the SXT AWD. complete load but the smoker's group (75 bones here in Canada) The wife did not want leather and I was after the heated seats. I have done A L O T of homework on this vehicle. Our order should be here in 4-6 weeks. The only thing that has me woried is that I ordered with the Navigation unit so instead of an RER radio. I will be getting the REU radio The REU is the one with the joystick instead of the touch screen. I brought the AWD out for a test drive and it felt very sporty in the corners. Steering was great but the 3.5 to me should have some more umph. It's not great but could be better. I did not order the R/T as a $2000 touch for a couple extras was not worth it. Great to be part of this fast growing forum. Rob
