My 2009 R/T has the same problem. I attributed it to the fact that the top of the motor is all plastic and was possibly amplifying the sound. I also get terrible milage...about 13.5 in around town driving. Although I am NOT a mechanic, I understand engines. Could this be somthing that I am concerned about? It really doesn't bother me as I can only hear it OUTSIDE the vehicle. Thanks if anyone can educate me. Joe

You can create the exact same thing with an off the shelf product from www.iqsmartsolutions.com, and without drilling any holes (except to route wires behind dash.) The mount is for satellite radio, but comes with gps mounts and is CHEAP...I got mine on clearance at BBuy for 5.99! Folds flat for storage, and sits up nicely when open with slight finger pressure. Dont have any photos, but could upload some if anyone is intersted... Joe

PAC electronics makes a product that allows you to use the foward screen and NAV while in motion. It is expensive, though...$299 I think. If you are interested and would like more details let me know, otherwise you can google it. Joe

Are you using the headsets? Is there audio in the headsets? Have you tried turning the radio volume WAY up? What is your model radio? (listed under the RIGHT radio knob) Does the unit use AUX jack interface or an FM Modulator? Love to help but need more info... Joe
