  1. John, Your steps towards troubleshooting are greatly appreciated. As you had recommended, I followed the pressure switch that connects to the Tower Train Control Module. The coolant temp switch. The Evaporator Temp Sensor and in-car Temperature Sensor connect to the AC Control Module. All this data is crunched and sent by Logic Bus to the respective receiver circuit. Then the Power Train Control module compounds the data and opens a contact on post #79 that closes the circuit to the ground, providing power to the clutch relay coil that closes its contacts 30-87, powering the Compressor Clutch. I still would like to find the relay and determine why fuse F168 does not get power from post #87 of the relay. I suspect the relay is not working or it is simply missing, or I have been missed by this wiring Diagram I have. (attaching the full HVAC system Wiring diagram) In 2009-2011 DJ, the relay was found on the left side of the engine compartment , on the fuse box. Unfortunately, I can't get information about where that relay was physically located in the 2012 SXT Model. I am hoping someone that has worked on 2012-2019 DJ models can give me some advice. I am thanking you for reading my post till this point, Your time and help is appreciated . Alkot AIR CONDITIONING - Dodge Journey SXT 2012 - SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS .pdf
  2. My 2012 DJ SXT V6 FWD AC didn't start, the compressor did not click in. I found that the fuse #186 located on the engine's left side fuse box does not have power. As per a diagram that I had found on the web (attached circuit picture), fuse #186 is in line between the relay and the clutch coil. But I could not find the relay on this Fuse box. The circuit diagram (maybe it is not the correct one?) allocated both components to the same distribution box (attaching my fuse box picture as well). I am sure I am not the first one lost in this situation. If someone would tell me what I am missing here, I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks in advance,
  3. This is an old post . In case some one need advise with this problem, I go it fix replacing the blender actuator on my 2012 DJ SXT. For it I would Recommend having a small profile size 8mm socket and ratchet set. Take off glove drawer and work from under the dashboard.
  4. Thanks for the information. "Its a rotary style valve. It’s driven by cam shaft." Would you explain it more about how the camshaft drive the valve? it is by pressure? Really appreciate it learning. Thanks as well for the links, I am adding them to my favourites. Alkot
  5. On a 2012 DJ STX 3.6 V6 STX model. I bought a no-brand PCV and I would like to receive some advice on this valve functioning. I had an idea that the valve should not allow the passage of the gasses backward to the crank case . I understand there are few ways of testing the valve functioning during engine running time. Having the valve is interesting for me if it is working correctly before I start taking things apart. I am talking about the Balloon Test found on YT sides where a different Valve from a Japanese brand is being tested. Here is the link to it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12yqltrYlos Here is the link to my short Test video with my new valve: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/KJ37TIRwRS8 I would get the valve from Mopar but I can find it in this area of Southern Ontario, Canada. In advance, I much appreciate all your thoughts. Thanks, Alkot
  6. 2late4u Thanks a lot for your fast response. Reading the post related to the AWD really got me confused. I had lost hours of sleeping thinking about how to top the transfer case, LOL. I couldn't find the Draining refiling plugs. The video is very instructional . I am working now on the oil cooler and spark plugs, so my next task would be replacing transition fluid and filter. cheers, Alkot
  7. Does the 2012 SXT FWD V6 Journey have the left and Righ output shafts gears located on the same case lubricated area as the 6 speed transmition assembly? Is the tranmition fluid level covering the outpt shaft gear assembly? the rason of my question is because the left output shaft seal was replaced and the fluid was lost . thanks for your help
