I personally am happy with the stock alpine speakers, they sound great at high volume., but I am almost insulted at the highly praised, stock amp and subwoofer. I don't want a lot of bass, I have kids. But I'd like a little thump to my music. What I expected from the factory amp and sub. Just a little oomph. I've searched a long time, and hesitated to post this on here for fear of backlash or insults, but I'm considering buying a small, 6", bazooka tube with integrated amp. High input speaker splice,... has anyone put a bazooka tube in there journey? Second thing is, can you add an amp to a vehicle with a stock amp?

My volume to speed setting works, I have it, I dont hear a high pitched whine though.. hm..

The journey has to go to the dealership on Friday for an oil change, and to be diagnosed with an issue of the coolant disappearing, bit no leaks to be found. I recently bought it, and had the warranty transferred. I still have all the warranty, for another few months until the shortest covered warranty stuff runs out. I plan to purchase extended. My question is- Will I have to pay for the oil and labor, or will it be covered? And- do I have to be the one to take the vehicle there, being my name's on the warranty and it's my first visit, or can I send it with a friend or relative while I'm at work?

How do you turn on notifications so that they show on the webpage. On mobile, and laptop. It sends me unnecessary emails way too much, telling me if someone comments, or whatever, but I want them to just show a red bell, when I click notifications. I've been through the notifications settings, clicked different options, I can't figure it out. Some settings, it doesn't give me the ability to choose an option, it's greyed out. I don't want emails, I just want to have to click the red bell area, to see of I have any notifications when I come to the webpage.

Can I send as friend or relative to the dealer with my journey while I'm at work, or does it have to be the name.on the warranty to take it in?

The cubby doesnt, I use it often., I'll check the doors when I get home. this prob isn't the place for this either., But how do I get notifications when someone like you comments on something like this? I go into the notifications settings, and click different options and save, but it emails me each time, instead of just putting a red bell in the notifications when I come to the site here.. I don't want all the unnessecary emails, I'd like to just have notifications on the webpage. It even says below this box as I type, to notify me of replies. And some notification settings, do not give me the option to change or add....?

I couldn't find the correct forum to post this under, if it can be moved to the correct one, cool. When I pull out to drive from a stop, it sound like there's water under the hood sloshing around. Like a full fish tank being moved, or water rushing through pipes. Is this normal? Strange....

I just learned that there's third party offers....strange. I can't buy it tomo, bit I can and am going to in the next thirty days..Friday is first visit with the dealership, I hope there's no problems.. it was a wrecked journey. Got fixed up and sold. I bought it with cash I've been saving for a loooonnngggg time, and had the warranty transfered just recently. It's over due for an oil change.

So its like a super-fine grit wet-sanpaper? The clay? I thought that was a sponge at first, I thought maybey the towel was the clay.... SMh the sand block one would prob do for the flat panels. I'dike the sponge for the curves.... I don't know if my 2018 GT even needs it. I don't think? Looks decent. But I got a wax I've heard about on the social media group... Do you think it needs clay bar jobbed first? Or just a wash with my good soap? I'm just trying to keep it as preserved as good as I can, as long as I can. At least if it bread down, it still looks brand new.

I have a decent car soap, I forget what it's brand is too, bit it's not the dawn dish soap I've always used. I'm really trying to keep this thing as brand new as I can. I used the magic eraser to take some greasy like black fingerprints off the headliner. It worked good, like magic. That stuffs crazy.

Yeah, I used the escort to go to work, it uses half the gas, 45 min drive.i didn't feel like getting it, I remembered it's in the tool box in the journey. I was gonna show it to you in the morning after I wake up. But that's exactly it. It was fourty bucks. I'm about to look at that one your talking about though, now that you mention the curves. The mothers is like a block sander. Maybey it was twenty dollars. I can't remember., Either twenty or fourty.

I'm new, been wanting to do this since I learned the GT had capabilities. Seen another conversation that the gentleman said he didn't think it looked like a 10" could fit in the oem sub hole,.. but I figured it could, even with a saw zawl. kinda knew in the back of my head, I could, or someone could.ill prob go to Best buy to have it done by them. They'll do quicker, and prettier than I could. I like kicker and mtx. I've had my 2018 GT for two months. Stock sub and amp are weak. I want some more omph between my legs. I'm gonna go on best buy and see what there working with. Great post above! Hope you guys still have it and bumpin'

You are helping? What a matter? I'm actually looking forward to checking out the Amazon link you said about, and maybey returning mine for that, it's cheaper, and obviously more well known. I'm sorry buddy...

In case you drop it? Lol, what if you don't drop it, then you can use more? I'm not familiar with the clay bars. But now I want to keep my red shiny. Im a bush mom, but I'll learn in between.. I think it's mother's, clay bar. It reminds me of, you know how you put a piece of sandpaper in a block, that clamps down on it? And sand a car, block sander I think it's called? It reminds me of that. It says it how many uses you can get out of it, it was something really high, I forget, fourty? I'm leaving work, Mayberry I'll take a photo of it when I get home. I'm sure there's many different forms of "clay bars"........

Keep mixing the bar? My bar is solid. Has a red rubber or plastic handle, so really only one side of the bar will touch the vehicle. You prob mean mix it with the lubricant. Silly me.

Awesome thank you! I got a bottle of (I forget the name brand) ceramic coat wax stuff I'd like to use after the clay. I'll get the name after I feed the baby and tell it.

Like armour all? Lol, i know not armour all. But I've already read him saying he used a spray detailer..... What kind, what's it called?

I meet those qualifications. What's no inspection of car mean?

Geez, I just paid twenty dollars for a mother's clay bar from Walmart. It didn't come with anything else it says water alone is not enough for lubrication, should I just use soapy car wash water? Is it easy to scratch, leave swirl marks? Do you use hard pressure, or do it lightly? Mines a 2018, so the paint isn't that bad, but I got a bottle of wannabe ceramic coat wax, and figured clay bar would prep it good first. I don't know what to use for lubrication though.....

I thought you had to do that through Mopar? I'm very interested in that and planning on trying to do it. I guess they price it by several different things right? Miles, condition, etc...

I'm interested in this and prob will end up doing it sometime. Except I want them on the top of the door, not the bottom. Like a light that comes on to light the entryway at night.

I see that I posted this in the wrong category. New to this. I called this morning to see if the lady received my emailed registration, she said she had, but that it didn't matter, that the warranty was already updated/transferred, with my name and info! So that's great, a restless night for nothing, but with a great ending. Thanks Fred, for the given confidence.
