I got the recall bulletin and the typical back order run around from my dealer. Says the parts should be in the "next couple of weeks" which means December if I'm lucky. I have no electrical issues so far and think I might just not get the recall done because I know they will screw it up and the fix will be worse than before.

How's the throttle response and sound with that new one ?

I think the CAI for the Avenger will work from what I hear with minor adjustment.

It looked staged to me. Just my 2 cents, but it didn't look real.

Holy crap, I have been trying to figure out why I have been having a wind buffeting noise. I just put two and two together but it started happening when I installed the front plate last month. Anyone else hear their plate flapping in the wind?

Anybody else front bumper loose or is there a gap? Mine is pulling away like its gonna come off and the wind doesn't seem to be helping

Aaaargh, this is so annoying I'm OK with the vanity cover falling off. The wind noise and even the vibrating noise when turning left. However, if I have to take the cover off and manually disengage the shift stick to get into drive or reverse everytime I'm gonna lose my mind. No one else has this problem?? Its like the shift stick is locked no matter how hard I push the brake or if I have the parking brake on etc.

Just gotta be honest. Bought an 09' last month with 39k and here is what I have noticed so far. 1. Driver's vanity light cover fell off. 2. Awful groan/ vibrating when going uphill. (Power steering?). 3. Sometimes vehicle will not start on first try. 4. Cannot get car into gear.(must turn off and re start). 5. Drivers side wind noise or slapping sound at highway speed. 6. Just had some weird rattling gremlin noise coming from the dash yesterday? Are these all easy fixes? I love my dodge truck and love the Journey except for the Gremlins

what is the deal here? sometimes when I start the vehicle and press the brake I still cant get into gear. shut it off and immediately restart and it goes right into gear? anyone else?

That's incorrect. That camera is located in the in the dome light :D

not to be a buzz killer, but the OP (original post) was almost 6 months ago! I'm sure hope he has made a decision by now. Hopefully he or she has about 10K on their new Journey by now

Just purchased my wife an 09' SXT with 39k miles. I have an 08' Ram Hemi and we love both. I do gotta say that I am paranoid after some of what I'm reading. I hope we got a good one
