Yeah, not sure why the reviews are so bad. I love mine. Does great in the snow. Pulls my boat. Lots of room. One of the most comfortable drives I've ever had, especially on long road trips. Plus, I really, really love the look of it.

There's another thread just above this one talking about something very similar. May be something in there that helps.

It's hard to say. I had a 2013 Dodge Avenger that had the same problem after around 40,000 miles. At first I though it was something in the suspension, but after checking everything out, couldn't find anything. Also, it was intermittent. It would do it more often when it was warm outside. I could hear it and feel it through the steering wheel. It almost never did it in cold weather. Never found anything, and it never worsened. It didn't matter if I was going straight or turning. Unfortunately, we never figured it out and I recently traded it in on my new Journey, so will never know. 

How do you all remove wax that gets imbedded in the plastic trim/rubber? The best I've found for the plastic is WD-40...spray on the rag and wipe. After it dries, I then apply the protectant. Anybody have any other ideas, as I don't want to use the WD-40 on the rubber/weather stripping?

Thanks. Just curious. Recently traded in my pick-up for a Journey. Have a 16' Tracker boat that I have yet to pull. Weight of the boat is around 1400 lbs...Tongue weight about 120 lbs, so shouldn't be a problem. Got the tow/hitch from, and installed by, Uhaul. Just a little nervous, even though all the specs say everything should be more than fine.

What speeds were you able to do up the steeper hills? What RPM were you at on those hills?

Got it fixed. The oil filler neck was "loose" from the factory. Apparently it just kinda "pops in". Easy fix, thankfully.

Yeah, everything looks fine. No cracks/leaks I can see. Level is fine. Will take it by the dealer and have them check it out.

I have a new 2019 Journey 3.6L AWD. It just hit 3k miles. I notice a burning oil smell after driving up and down hills. When going up steep hills, I watched the oil pressure gauge and at about 4k RPM, the gauge maxes out. Not sure if this is normal or not, and not sure if the smell is part of the "break in". Any thoughts?

Hi. Just traded in my 2013 Avenger for a 2019 Journey. I guess it's called "adulting", or at least that's what I hear the kids call it.
