12 PACK got a reaction from 5rebel9 in Rodent Deterrent
Thanks for the comments. I sprayed some peppermint oil throughout the engine bay and sliced up some Irish Spring bars of soap and put that into both bays of our vehicles. I did the same for the shed. We'll see if they work.
If I see a chipmunk in the yard wearing a scally cap, I'll have to come up with a plan B.

12 PACK got a reaction from jkeaton in Code C1502-96 TPS?
Turns out the wheel bearing that was replaced two months ago failed. It was replaced under the warranty I got when the job was done. That explains the clunk I heard as I didn't think a failed sensor would cause that. I'm glad I didn't replace the sensor thinking that was the cure.

12 PACK got a reaction from jkeaton in Have I been Had
I found this tonight on what's covered: "power transfer unit and all internal parts; viscous coupler; axle housing and all internal parts; constant velocity joints and boots; driveshaft and axle shaft assemblies; differential carrier assembly and all internal parts; output ball bearing; output flange; end cover; overrunning clutch; vacuum motor; torque tube; pinion spacer and
shim, seals and gaskets for listed components only."
Output ball bearing? Is this another name for a wheel bearing?

When I had my 05 Cummins Ram, I did an Excel spreadsheet tracking maintenance including mileage, date, what was done and by who if it wasn't me. Prior to selling it, I emailed it to any prospective buyer that asked as I put it in my listing.
At some point, most of us will be selling or trading in our Journeys to someone. This simple act will help getting the most $$ you can.
