  1. so i called sirius...........they were little help.  they showed that ive got a 5 year subscription but arent sure why any colorado cities show up.  they suggested that its maybe due to the fact the car has the GARMIN nav system??  im not sure.  they are updating my account and re sending signals to see if it adds cities.  i even see on their coverage map it shows a few denver cities......so im hopeful

    ill keep you all updated

The appropriate solution is to fit HIR bulbs - they have the same spread and color, but are 40% brighter than stock for the same wattage.  There is a benefit in that the life of an HIR1 and HIR2 bulb is about double that of a conventional halogen bulb.

    Info on HIR bulbs: http://store.candlepower.com/9011hir.html

One key on the base of HIR bulbs has to be trimmed to fit into the 9005/9006 receiver.  There are templates for this and it is simple to do.

    I bought mine from candlepowerinc.com  The have a deal for a set of 4 bulbs for $70 . . . . . http://store.candlepower.com/hirsponeseto.html

A template for trimming the bulb base can be found on this page:  http://store.candlepower.com/mohirbuba.html

since we are on the subject.........................how the HECK is anyone supposed to get their hand to the drivers side headlight???  the hi beam and turn signal are easy, its that low beam that looks to be a pain to get to!!

check out hir bulbs instead of led for the headlights,if i had to do it over think i would have went that route.....

i just came across a thread about those.  looks pretty interesting.  a little filing and they should slip right it!!  thanks for that info!  any source on a matching foglight bulb?

  4. just joined this forum today.  gotta ay those headlights are stunning!  i just got my 2017 journey yesterday.  these may have to be my first big purchase.  how easy are they to aim?  in all honesty id probably pay to have them installed.  i figure they can pay for the fix if they scratch something haha.

do you suppose LED blubs would work in them or is HID a better choice?
