  1. It's great to hear a positive post on here. I agree.
  2. Sounds like a personal gripe to me. :talkhand: The Journey has top safety ratings and I highly recommend the 2011 model. Read the Car and Driver article under the 2011 Journey thread. If you do your homework and want an Enclave be my guest. If you want to support overseas car companies.....well.....
  3. Yeah, I have a 2009 SXT FWD and love it. I just think the reviewers were on the take to boost sales of the competitors.
  4. Jaymista, I left two links on this thread with photo. I think you'll like it.
  5. Hopefully the 2011 will be better: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/12/03/2011-dodge-journey-quick-spin-review-road-test/
  6. Auto Blog put out a good review too. Check it out: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/12/03/2011-dodge-journey-quick-spin-review-road-test/
  7. Car and Driver review. Click on the photos: http://blog.caranddriver.com/2011-dodge-journey-receives-face-lift-pentastar-v6-revised-interior/ Burn, I think there are amber turn signals (view the up close shot of the tail light to see the amber bulb) I so want one B)
  8. Doesn't look like it. Nor is it on the steering wheel. Unless this is a test model. Another thread had still photos. I'll check there. Nope. It's gone: http://www.media.chrysler.com/image-gallery.do;jsessionid=FC19D1989A6B2581A64C34C9FE00359D?&imageGalleryId=409&mid=254&method=view
  9. I bought all weather Yokahamas and am keeping my fingers crossed they will do good in the snow on my FWD.
  10. 47 year old Fireman in a Washington DC area (Northern Virginia). Married 23 years with a 19 year old daughter. I own a 2009 SXT FWD. Love it. Keeping my fingers crossed it handles well in the snow.
  11. Ditto, friend. I have a 2009 SXT FWD.
  12. I'm with you folks. I had a 2010 for a rental and loved it. While I was looking for another car I came across a 2009 SXT FWD. I love it. Every now and then I look over at my wife and say, "Have I told you I love this car?". I think she's about ready to throw something at me so I'd better cool it. Oh and here's something neat. For an air freshener I use a Glade Plug-in in the conventional outlet behind the center compartment. Works like a charm!
  13. I think I'm sticking with the Journey. 2011 looks sweet!
  14. Welcome and good luck with your new car.
  15. Hi Denny. Welcome to the forum!
  16. I just got Yokohama AS530 all season tires. So far I like them a lot. Smooth ride and good traction. http://www.bestcovery.com/yokohama-as530-all-season-tires?whybest=3&best=11164 I got them at NTB.
  17. I think Dodge is addressing this (or so I hope). I just had my tires changed and you guessed it, one of the valve stems was corroded. The tire guy said he couldn't order a new one from Dodge because they are all off the shelves for the time being. My guess is that they are trying to rethink the metal they use. Either way I hope they fix the problem. When I bought the car(certified used) it had a bad valve stem so they replaced it. Then another one went. Then a third. Hopefully this is the last one for a long time.
  18. I recommend taking the lug key with you when you are not driving. I came out one morning to find my wife's CRV up on bricks. They broke out a small window (after they clipped the alarm wire) then ransacked the car until they found the key. I know it can be a pain, but it was more of a pain getting the tires replaced and for the tow truck guy trying to get the car off the bricks and onto the flatbed without damaging the car. He did an awesome job.
  19. Thankfully, I have Kuhmo P225/65/R17's. Maybe somebody had a clue and changed the rims before I bought my '09. Unless the '09's had 17" to begin with.
  20. I saw one Journey commercial and was taken aback because the only one I saw before that was online. :o
  21. Nice ride. Good luck with it. My 2010 SXT rental is what lead me to buy my 2009 SXT. I love it.
