    yes i had the recall done, i tired that it didnt do anything. i even tried jumping it just in case the battery was to low, that didnt do anything either.

    I have an 09 Journey that wont start. The battery is good when i turn on the car everything turns on, but the engine. I had this problem yesterday but after about 5 min of messing around it started and ran fine, when i got off work it started right up. This morning i had no problems, its about 8 degrees outside so i thought that maybe the cold is having some effect, but its warmer now than when i left the first time this morning. I dont hear the starter, but i dont know if the starter is bad or if some other sensor is telling it not to crank. Any ideas would be great, thanks in andvance.

    i have an 09 journey se 2.4l. the PCM is out i have a new one but i dont know the location of the PCM so that i can swap them out i tried to GTS (Google That Shit) but it was no help at all. Thanks in advance

    Yes i replace i last month as well as all the spark plugs and coil packs, i broke down and took it to the dealership, partly because it had a recall anyways. they said it was the PCM and wanted to charge me $700 to replace it, i ordered one myself and it is supposed to come programmed. i will see if it fixes the problem it came in yesterday and i will try and get it swapped out this evening after work

    i havent gotten it in yet, i ordered one from a company that will have it programmed before they send it, should be in this week, ill let you know how it goes

    Ive found them for about $250 online, the dealership quoted me $750!

    I broke down and took it to the dealership, they said its the PCM thats bad and causing all the issues. Any place i should look to get one cheap?

    i dont have the code numbers and right now it wont run well enough to drive so i cant take it to get the codes read.

    i have never cleaned the throttle body, and as far as the actual codes i don't know i take it to Oriellys and have them read it for me they said random misfire and crank/cam shaft sensor. Ive tried to get the codes from the dash board, switch car to on and off 3 times, but no code show up then it says done. Im at a loss for what it might be, ive talked to several mechanics and dealerships and no one can tell me what is wrong other than what the codes say. Someone suggested that it could be due to low fuel pressure? Any thouhgts?

    I have a 2009 Dodge Journey 2.4L with 116K miles. I ran the codes and I had a random misfire code, crankshaft/camshaft positioning sensor code. Ive replace the sensors, spark plugs and coil packs a month ago when this first started, it ran great until 3 days ago. All the codes are back and it runs so rough and has so little power i cant even get it to the shop. Any and all help would be great.

    i have the cover and have not power washed the engine, The corrosion was on the plug for the coil back not in the plug tubes. I got a glimpse of an article on google saying that if the coil packs keep going bad that there is something else wrong and the coil packs are just s symptom but it didn's have much more information than that

    Yes i am, I noticed that the terminal leads were looking a little corroded so i cleaned them up a bit as well
