  1. I removed the front ones no problem, until i saw wires stick out. I unplugged the side airbag sensor. So be careful.
  2. Sorry bro. I was able to rech in through the pop down sunglasses holder and hold it down enough to pop it in. It takes some work but you should be able to get. Believe me mine is staying on there for good.
  3. And how did you pu tit back on? I removed mine some time ago and had a heck of a time getting it back on because the front where it snaps in would flex not allowing me to snap it into place.
  4. No, the 30 series tires have held up well. I am actually thinking of upgrading to a 35 or 40 series once its time to change them out. And no there is no rubbing.
  5. Looks great! Keep up the good work.
  6. It wasnt bad for mine. I removed the old grill and the new one bolted right in. The lower grill bolts right on to the exsisting grill. As far as engine upgrades, i have a cold air intake with aftermarket oil breather. I will be doing a catch can soon. Other than that the engine cover is painted with led lights in the engine bay.
  7. The amber signals are just covered in vinyl, you can still see them at night.
  8. Well I am getting ready for the Journey third show season. I am excited. Here are some pics of the way it is so far. I will be adding lowering springs next week and i will post pics. Also the engine is not quite done yet, so I will post those pics also soon.
  9. I have 22" Status wheels on mine with 255/30/22 tires, no issues.
  10. Hypertech makes a programmer for the 3.5L Avenger, which is the same motor in the DJ. I havent heard of anyone having one in a DJ yet, I am toying with the idea of grtting one after seeing what the Avenger guys had to say. http://www.avengerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=49081
  11. I once got Armour All on the dash of my 2005 Caravan and accidently got it on the speedo lens. Ruined it completly, got all cloudy. I have never used the stuff since.
  12. I have 22's on my 2010 and am planning on installing H&R's at the end of the month. I will let you know how it works out if you want.
  13. When I bought my 2010 Journey, I used the CAI that I had on my 2005 Caravan. It fit right on no problem. Point is, there may be CAI's for other models that will fit your 3.6, just do a little homework.
  14. Just curious to see if anyone knows if the new front facias will fit on the 2010 an older models? Seems like it should, but just trying to see if anyone knows anything.
  15. Did you use the Home Depot Weather strip for your Journey? If so can you provide details, and do you have pics?
  16. For those of you interested. I submitted my story to Modern Mopar Magazine and they used it! The story was published and I am excited. Here is the link http://www.modernmoparmagazine.com/wp/2011/09/30/my-dodge-journey-journey/
  17. I emailed 3G about a year ago concerning my 2010. I told them since the Avenger and Journey have the 3.5 they might want to think about making some parts. They emailed me back and said they were thinking about it and if they decided to go with it would I be willing to leave my Journey with them for about 3 weeks for development. I told them of course, and of course I havent heard from them again.
  18. I removed mine a while ago. What sucks is that the bolts come from under the roof and are welded. I cut the studs off of mine leaving the very bottom portion which I painted with factory touch up paint until I can take it to a body shop to have it completed.
  19. Looks awesome. I have wondered about this for a while myself. I like the 11' grill better. I have a billet grill on my 10' but am almost tempted to switch to the 11' grill.
  20. I was actually wondering what this would look like. Looks killer. I plan on doing it this weekend.
  21. Ha ha. After reading that, I think you sir are the one that needs to grow up.
  22. Actually it is a OEM badge not a sticker. And their is no normal vehicle to it. My Journey has h&r lowering spring with cold air intake and aftermarket crankcase filter, and a number of other mods. Don't hate me because i am having fun with my journey and using my imagination.
  23. Who said this was an emergency first of all. Second, i removed the headrest to install headrest monitors. Remember "lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine" is one of the oldest sayings in the book, come up with something newer. Third, i figure everything else out on my own and everything is back in place with no issues.
