Hello; I am new to this forum also. And so glad to find it. I have a 2012 Journey. Just bought it a year ago. First Dodge product we've ever owned. Same problems with our radio, although we have now got in the habit of turning the volume right down and then shutting the radio off before shutting the vehicle off. I have printed off the info sheet for 08-048-11 but curious - is this something that there is a charge for or is it an update that Dodge is required to do?

HAha. Thanks for the levity you two. Jeffinva did you ever get your radio screen issue resolved? I'll get some help with trying the negative terminal and if that doesn't work will call the dealer.

I'm new here, searched and searched and searched for a topic likes this. And since I know nothing about forums I ended up on one for 'navigation' systems and it was kindly suggested I get off there and find the proper topic . So I'm very glad to have come across this one. I have a 2012 Journey and my touch screen also went blank. Exact same as jeffinva from the above posting. I see dhh3 has posted a suggestion in regards to t disconnecting the negative terminal for a 1/2 hour or so. Do you mean the negative post on the battery? Sorry if that seems like a stupid question but I'm kind of flying solo on this (and female) so want to make sure I have that straight. Jeffinva did you try that suggestion and did you have any results? Or what did you end up doing with your issue? Thanks!

My apologies in regards to opening my own topic/piggybacking. I truly do not have a clue what to do when it comes to these forums as I've never been on one before. I didn't even know if my message would post or not. I will try to and figure out how to open a new topic, I just wasn't sure if the navigation system being discussed is part and parcel of this same screen area. No I can't get music from the system and the aircon does not work, the fan button below the screen works but that's it, oh it will suck a cd in but can't get it out then. No access to the touch screen. Thank you branfrank for your response and suggestions. I'm kind of flying solo on this so I really appreciate your response.

Hello; Just found this forum. I have a 2012 Journey and this morning the 'radio' screen, as I don't know what else to call it was fine. Went to work, came out at lunch to head off and the radio screen never came on, and hasn't come on since. I shut the vehicle off and let it sit for a bit before turning it on - nothing. The rest of the dash is fine eg. speedometer etc. But I have no climate control or anything on this other screen. Help!!
