lg68jcu Posted August 11, 2012 Report Share Posted August 11, 2012 I have a question for you guys who have the SXT/Crew V6s or the R/T (assuming they have the same exhaust)... Is it a true dual exhaust or is it a single pipe with a Y pipe with Dual outlets? Is there a mid muffler, resonators as well as the rear mufflers? Just wondering where I have to start hacking when I pick mine up. If you have pics of the stock exhaust system I'd love to see it. bigtsr Posted August 11, 2012 Report Share Posted August 11, 2012 It's a single 3" approx. pipe up to the spare tire which splits at that point to each muffler. Sounds like throwing on high flow mufflers will be the route to start with. I put dynomax super turbos on my G8 and loved them. I will have to see.
