Rear Camera relocation to Centre of tailgate

Hi,

I noticed the camera being off center doesn't give the right perspective (object on the left are close than objects on the right - or the other way?) and I noticed the '12 Journey now has that in the centre right above the license plate.

I visually looked at the setup and seems like the only difference is the plate holding the camera and license plate lights..

After some investigation the part for the '09-'11 is: 05178321AC (From catalog (page 125/692) - http://www.berrysprinter.com/e-Fiche/Model%20Years/CD5/06-09/09JC.pdf)

Does anyone know the part number for the '12?

Can someone with a '12 is kind enough to post some pictures?

If it's that easy to relocate the camera I'll buy the new plate.. but my dealership tells me that is not going to work cause is "not compatible". I have a hard time believing that.

Any advise?

I'm not sure why the part number would be different for the '12. My '11 Crew has the rear camera centered above the license plate, same as the '12.

Maybe yours is a late build with '12 parts.

Any idea where to get a parts catalog for a 12'?

No, my 2011 Crew was built in January of 2011. The camera was relocated to the centre spot starting with the 2011 model year.

I guess the parts guy was wrong...

Still any ideas on how to get a parts catalog?
