redtomatoman Posted December 26, 2011 Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 Got a Dynex iPod cable for use in my Journey. iPod connects perfectly with the white apple cable, but does not work with this aftermarket cable. The Dynex cable works for the computer, but not for connecting in my Journey. Weird. Anyway, just thought I'd pass that along. Peace. ChrisPollard Posted December 27, 2011 Report Share Posted December 27, 2011 I've always found that non-Apple cables/adapters/etc were a crap shoot with Apple products. Part of the reason I've never been a huge iWhatever fan. (Even though there are three of 'em in my house. That, and I hate iTunes.) I had a cable a year or so back that would work to charge my Touch from the wall ... but the same USB charge cord would NOT do a thing with my laptop. The only sure bet is the genuine Apple cord ... which is exactly what they want, so they can keep on overcharging you for every little accessory.
