Is there a way to reset the change oil display without changing the oil?

I just changed the oil to Amsoil full synthetic 3,000 miles ago and the change oil message is already coming on every time I start the car.

There is NO way I need to change my oil yet, and I'm NOT going to. But I don't want to hear that ding every single time I get in the car.

There has to be a way to reset it. Anyone have the scoop on this? Any technicians on here know any tricks?

I can get 10,000 - 15,000 miles out of an oil change with Amsoil full synthetic, there is no reason that message should be coming on so soon.

And there is no reason I should have to deal with it every single time I turn the car on.

Thanks for any help in advance.
