seanh Posted November 23, 2011 Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to get at the tweeters in the dash so i can replace them??? Im desperate to have this info. The new dash looks like it is ine piece. Dodge has truly screwed the customer if we cannot so simple things like change out the speakers...... madmaxman Posted February 17, 2012 Report Share Posted February 17, 2012 I would abort mission with the in dash tweeters. You are better off purchasing a set of Component speakers from Cruthcfield and notching out a little hole in the door above the panel to install them. You can then easily disconnect the tweeter lead that runs to the dash and be done with it. I just ripped out the entire center dash consol to rewire the radio and I could not even come close to see how to get to the tweeter. avalenzuela1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
avalenzuela1 Posted January 28, 2014 Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 Removing the pillars next to the windshield and then pulling on the part of the dash touching the bottom of the windshield that is a seperate piece and the tweeters will be right there.
