krunch Posted October 21, 2011 Report Share Posted October 21, 2011 Hi I have a 2011 Journey LUX with the 8.4 UCONNECT. Just recently the radio will not come on right away after the car has been started. It takes about 3 minutes for any sound from am or fm station, however it will play the sateliite stations no problems. Once the am fm sound does come on it stays on. Any Ideas?? fivepack Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 Got the same problem on cold days. Restarting the engine makes the radio come on. Dealer says there is no problem, can't replicate, can't verify my complaint, no codes, etc. In other words, they have no idea what is wrong and therefore, will do nothing to fix it. Since I have a limited number of days that I can take off, I have been living with this since the start of winter. It has been back to the dealer three times for the same thing.
