  1. Same problem here. I'll find out what the dealer says when I take it in next week.
  2. We sought out one with the third row just in case we should ever need it. With a child in our near future, I'm sure there will be times when we have guests and need to put the kid in the back. However, I would never ask an adult over 4 feet tall to sit back there. And I agree with the previous posts, it is not really possible to add a third row.
  3. Welcome Francesco! I am sure you and your family will enjoy your new Freemont. The 8.4" system is really well done and overall Dodge did a great job with this vehicle. The partnership with Fiat allowed them to take a really mediocre vehicle and turn it into something really good. The 2.0 Multijet should have great torque at low RPM, which is great for any Italian city!
  4. I can comment on #1: I was really annoyed by the lack of response from the transmission when we first got our Journey Lux. The transmission has adapted to our driving style and I haven't noticed issues like this so much.
  5. I have seen something similar in ours where an event will cause the satellite radio stations to not have any sound.
  6. I created a simple stand-off bracket for ours and attached it to the lower honeycomb grating using 4 heavy-duty zip ties.
  7. I have also noticed a lot more brake dust on the rear wheels than on the front in our 2011 Journey. I was going to ask the dealer about it next time we are in for service.
  8. We had a nice surprise a couple weeks ago when we received a congratulations letter from Chrysler for purchasing a Chrysler service plan. I was surprised because we had not bought a service plan. After digging around on Google for a bit, I discovered that Dodge was including the service plan with the Journey Lux and Durango Citadel. It covers all scheduled and recommended maintenance for 3 years/36,000 miles. I believe it said that oil changes are at 3,000 mile intervals even though what I read online said 6,000. http://wot.motortrend.com/no-charge-dodge-durango-citadel-and-journey-lux-now-offer-nocost-maintenance-10057.html
  9. It is a shame they did not put the Pentastar V6 in them earlier. The acceleration from that engine is very impressive given the weight of the vehicle. I have also been very surprised by the fuel economy.
  10. Thanks everyone for the responses! I figured it was just the TCM programming to maximize fuel economy, but I wanted to make sure. It will just take us a while to get used to burying the accelerator to get the transmission to downshift more than one gear.
  11. Our 2011 has the same problem. We noticed it when driving the vehicle home from the dealership.
  12. We recently purchased a 2011 Journey, with the Pentastar V6, for my wife. I noticed that when the cruise control is set, and you encounter a hill, the speed decreases quite a bit and stays that way. Last night I watched it slow down over 5 mph (8 kph) until we reached the top of the hill. This hill was mildly steep, for a highway, but none of our other vehicles have had this problem. I have noticed the same, though less drastic, on much lesser hills. We have owned many GM and Ford vehicles and have never had this problem. The Fords that I have owned would never slow down more than 1/2 mph on a hill. The GMs would usually lose a couple mph before catching back up. I am sure that this is very annoying to the people behind you. Has anyone else had this problem with their V6 Journey?
