2011 Crew after one Month

Coming up on one month since we picked up our 2011 Crew, just passed 2300 km on it. So far so good besides the major ABS problem I had at the start which turned out to be a defect from factory (they didn't seal the ABS Module so water, salt, everything as kicking back up and shorted it out). Ride has been very smooth on the 19' tires that come on the Crew. Gas Mileage so far has been ok, EVIC showing 10.3L/100km right now. All the toys on the inside are working great, no big problems to report with the Uconnect system besides the IPOD issue reported elsewhere here. All in all for my first domestic, have to say i am very happy. Next month will be telling as we'll drive down to the Boston area so that will be the first big road trip :)

The first tank of gas averaged about 13... The second was 14... Mixture of City and Highway... Took it for a trip this last week, and there and back (about 1200km total) I averaged about 10 which isn't bad considering it's a bit hilly. From what I understand, the economy should get a bit better as the engine gets broken in more.

drb227 I think is averaging around 13-14 according to Fuelly (more accurate than the EVIC which appears to be showing a better economy then it actually is by 0.6 L/100km)

Yes, in my case, the EVIC is off by 0.6L/100km, which isn't bad.

So far, for the tank I'm on now, I'm getting 11.7, according to the EVIC, which is more like 12.3L/100km.

The vast majority of my driving is not on the highway.

How was the road trip?

I have about 2500kms on mine and am leaving for Boston on Thursday. I'm really anxious as I think this is a great road trip vehicle (yet to be seen)

My fiancé is very anxious as well.

I bought mine a week before I left for a 3 week to the west coast. I went on a 6 day sea kayaking on the north end of Vancouver Island and I was very impressed with the car. IMO this is a great road trip car.

Just got back from my long weekend road trip. I must say, the truck was AMAZING! I made it from Montreal to Boston on one tank and still had gas to spare for a few days of driving there (about 600-some kms). I only filled up right before we left to come back home.

The ride was very smooth, quiet. Handled great on the highway. All in all I am very pleased.

Did 120kms/hr almost the entire way.

Best part of all, See pic :banvictory:

Congrats on your exceptional mileage. The best I ever did was 9.3/100 kms and that was from Lethbridge, Alberta to Regina, Saskatchewan. To anyone who has travelled that road, they know it is fairly flat and is double lane about 70% of the way.
