Toma Posted Monday at 07:20 PM Report Share Posted Monday at 07:20 PM I have a 2017 journey and having issues with overheating. I have new thermostats, new thermostat housing, new overflow tank. I keep losing coolant but no signs of leaks, then overheats when stopped but goes to normal when starting to move. Also now noticed my heat don't work. Could it be my heater core or something else. There a a couple of "weak spots" with the 4 banger cooling systems. The radiator filler neck tends to crack at the upper hose connections, I suggest replacing with an aftermarket aluminium unit along with a new cap. The radiator FAN resistor is prone to go bad, not allowing the radiator fan to engage. Could be part of your observation of high temp sitting still, but normal temp moving.
