JustDodge Posted September 14, 2025 Report Share Posted September 14, 2025 hello, i’m currently in a hardship with my 2012 dodge journey. my engine is on the death bed at 191.5k miles, head gasket is bad and has leak causing major overheating. thought about replacing the engine but i’m seeing a lot about that not being easy considering that over the years, fca made tweaks to the 3.6. so can i swap a 3.6 from a 2011 chrysler 200 without having to swap parts over or did they modify the engine between 2011-2012 to where the two can’t be easily interchanged? any advice is appreciated!
