wraith13 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Share Posted December 11, 2010 Does anyone know if the factory remote start fob has the ability to keep the vehicle running while you take the key fob out for a quick stop at a corner store? My wife has an aftermarket one in her vibe and it comes in handy for trips to the corner store and the mail boxes in the winter time. wraith13 Posted December 13, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 13, 2010 Yes, I understand that...I'm talking about while the fob in on, the engine running, then press the button and the car will remain running after you remove the fob and go about you shopping or whatever. That way you don't have to go thru the whole process of hitting the button twice, the starter engaging etc, etc. It's a nice feature once you have it and use it, but I miss having it with the journey.
