The BAS ESP light and the traction control light are both on in my car and now my car doesn't shift out of park!! No, I did NOT turn on the traction control or mess with the button. When your car’s warning light comes on, it means that something is wrong. Illumination of the ESP BAS light indicates a malfunction of the Brake Assist System or Electronic Stability Program. The most common causes why the ESP BAS light comes on are given below: Bad wheel speed sensor Faulty brake switch Bad steering angle sensor Damaged or faulty wiring Bad brake pads and calipers 1) Bad Wheel Speed Sensor................
