Saskjourney Posted August 14, 2022 Report Share Posted August 14, 2022 Hey we have a 2019 journey GT and I came out this morning to cracks on the plastic where the speedometer is and on the other side.... We had hot weather last night then before a storm parked it in our cool garage but didn’t think this would happen since this thing has lasted some cold winters. is this an expensive fix ?! 2late4u Posted August 14, 2022 Report Share Posted August 14, 2022 probally yes expensive, i wouldn't worry about it myself.is the crack is in the outside plastic that you can feel with your finger tip or a small screwdriver? the plastic chrome ring that is part of the dash is okay ,the plastic lens covering the actual speedo is usually screwed or spot welded to the speedo unit itself...either way it wont cause you no problem unless it just aggravates you enough to spend the $$ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
