Phinsup33 Posted May 9, 2022 Report Share Posted May 9, 2022 Hey everyone, I’m New here but I was wondering if anyone has encountered or installed the ENG-CUSTOM Apple CarPlay/Android Auto module in their Journey or similar and the success they’ve had with it. I was thinking about purchasing one but I wanted to know if it actually works and if it’s worth the $450 CAD for it. Appreciate any help in advance! After new cables received, which I didn't use at all, and will be returning to them this happened: 3 weeks ago while driving, the left steering EVIC buttons stopped working. Worst, the phone button was the only working when I would press the right arrow . Then came back to normal hours later. I decided to order new EVIC buttons and Cruise control as well... Changed them. Guessed? The problem is gone permanently! So to all who read this. The ENG-Custom kit is great and i had a lemon that was the EVIC buttons.
