09 Journey with 6 speed auto msp6 Getrag issues, want to bypass neutral switch

here is one for you, lets see if anyone out there can figure this out. I have one of these and the trans is junk and I want to swap over to a manual transmission. normally I would just bypass the neutral switch wiring after I put the manual trans in but this trans, the msp6 has the neutral safety switch as part of the TCM which is inside the trans itself. now the engine starts no problem but if I remove the wiring loom it wont start. I tested the loom and cannot find any wires that have beep using a mutlimeter when in P or N, like a safety switch. the A604 had the switch right on top, but the Journey has this Dual clutch 6 speed autotrans. if I unplug the trans and hot wire the starter directly for the battery it just cranks but wont start. if I plug it back in, start in it will run and I can unplug the trans again and it wont stall.  does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows the connections between the trans and the car ECU?? HELP!!!

Mitchel login will have lots of diagrams, buy a one month subscription.

The starter relay has five contacts, usually one of the legs is a ground coming back from neutral safety switch.

Or go on the Hyundai forums and ask this to a guy with the user name Autospark. He’s from the UK, Scotland actually, a full time automotive electrical specialist. Very talented technician.
