Popped head reat Posted July 14, 2020 Report Share Posted July 14, 2020 Hi everyone nw to this forum, hoping all are staying safe......just wondering is there a recall for the head rest that popping, I was NOT in any accident. But stopped at a light and heard the noise and saw that my passenger side headrest popped open ....it’s no way to put it back as it’s stuck in that position.....I see that as far back as 2014, and dodge has not contacted anybody....I cat use the functions on my vehicle I.e. starter or lock my doors because the check engine light is on because of the headrest....any info would be greatly appreciated.... OhareFred Posted July 14, 2020 Report Share Posted July 14, 2020 I think you can reset the headrest yourself. There are directions in the owners manual (I believe). Mine doesn’t have that type so can’t look for you. Not so sure the check engine light is on because of the headrest, might just be coincidence.
