As far as I have always understood, the app and features are available but there is a monthly or yearly fee. Summer Solstice Posted December 18, 2019 Report Share Posted December 18, 2019 You can put your VIN # into the Uconnect website to see if you can upgrade the software on your radio. Mine has 2 upgrades available. I did not pursue it and don't know if this makes the radio compatible with Uconnect Access but the upgrade option is still of value to anyone having one of these radios. There was no mention of Uconnect Access in the upgrade titles but, a some point, I will likely update the software anyway while it is available.
