  1. Had this same isue when I had a 2010. Was in shop 3 times. They replaced the computer and it still did it. Sometimes I would catch it as it was happening. Then I'd deliberately press the horn button on the steering wheel for a couple of seconds. It would then stop honking. Dealer declined to replace the st wheel horn button as it is an integral part of the airbag. Finally became so annoying that I traded it off for another vehicle with the problem still unresolved.
  2. I have decided that it's a software "feature", ha ha. The sensor is detecting the fob as being inside while the door is still open. So it unlocks to let you retrieve the fob. The sequence should be for the sensor to "look" for the fob after the door closes. Have found that if I get out and pivot so the fob, in my right pocket, is away from the interior of the door, then press the interior lock button with left hand it always works properly. Still, this "feature" should be addressed by Chrysler as it is very annoying.
  3. I have the exact same issue. Shut off engine, open door, press lock button on arm rest, close door and walk a few feet and it will unlock and the horn beeps 3 times. Have also had several instances of getting into to the Journey, lock with arm rest button, put foot on brake and start reaching for the Start button, 3x beeps and the doors unlock. No this isn't a fob issue as it does the unlock routine with either fob (I've tried them both). There is no unlock procedure that you'd normally use that elicits the 3x horn beep. Fob unlock or door handle unlock doesn't generate any beeps. Locking with fob or door handle push button only gets one beep. Has anyone found a solution to this annoyance?
  4. I am having the same problem. Have a 2014 with keyless proximity unlock and ignition (push button). It happens to me intermittently. Have ignition off, get out and press the lock button on the armrest, close driver door, walk about 5 to 10 feet, then three beeps to notify me that it has unlocked itself. Also, as just happened, got into vehicle, pressed the lock button on armrest, started to press ignition button to start engine, as I was reaching for ignition button it beeped three times and sure enough the door was now unlocked with me seated in the driver seat. Relocked it, started engine without any further problem. Have tried several different sequences to see if I could identify any pattern. No noticeable pattern as to when it will happen and never happens twice in a row. Definitely time to see the dealer about this annoying problem.
