  1. Thought I would let everyone know... I also received the letter re: front brakes. I already changed the pads and rotors myself, back in Feb 2011. Upon calling Chrysler Canada customer assistance, I was told to mail in the receipt fo the parts and I should be reimbursed. While talking to the customer service Rep I was informed of the recall "K07" for the front door wiring harness issue. I also mentioned that my rear brakes are just about shot, and was told to bring this to the service managers attention at my local dealership when I take my Journey in for the recall work. If the dealer is not willing to help with the rear brakes I was requested to call Chrysler Canada customer assistance back and see what they can do. I will update on the situation after going to the dealer.
  2. Thanks for the info "chimen1". Guess I'll have to find time to get it into the dealer.
  3. Compared to the my wifes Hyundai Tucson And even my old 2000 neon the FM radio reception in my 2009 sxt is truly awful. Has anybody else got this problem.
  4. Have noticed that my power windows seem to be having a hard time going up and down when the mercury heads south. Particulally the front passenger side, when trying to raise it back up I have to hit the switch several times, as it will move a little then stop. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? If so do you know of a fix?
  5. If you go ahead and buy these alloys , you're going to have a hard time installing them. The wheel nut pattern on the Journey is " 5 x 127". 5 x 114 will not fit. My opinion, look for a shop that knows what they are doing. If they don't even know the bolt pattern for your vehicle what else are they going to screw up?
  6. The audio system has to be programmed by the dealer when the U-Connect module is installed in order for it to work. My dealer quoted $145.00cad to install and program or $95.00cad just to program unit if I installed the module myself. I opted to have them complete the whole job as the difference in price didn't seem worth the hassle of doing it myself.
  7. I had the annoying squeak/creak from rear left side suspension. only occationally at first, but got progressively worse. I have the SXT with 19" rims and performance suspension. Took it in to dealer who performed TSB 13300190 Re torque rear cross member. Squeak/creak gone! Hope This Helps.
