Hi I have had my dodge for around 3month now and for the last 2 month it has been having the same problem. When the car is around 2k revs its jerking forward and back and when you take your foot off the accelerator its making a fluttering sound, sounds like a ch ch ch ch ch ch sound (hard to make the sound with letters lol) Been to the garage I bought it from since it has 3 years warranty, model is Dodge Journey SE (diesel 2010). At first they said it was the heat shield that was loose, fixed it same problem. Second time said turbo pipes have split, fixed it problem went into a blowing sound alot worse, sent it in re fitted them again said they fixed it, sent it back in now same problem, went back in today and they said its a normal light caused by the dodge journeys DPF? It happens for aslong as you drive it and sounds very embarrassing, now can anybody out there give me any ideas what this is or let me no if they have had the same problem. So I can tell the so called mechanics at Kings what is wrong with the car. Thanks. Paul

Hey thats my new car just waiting for it to be transferred up to Manchester. Whats it like? Have you still got it?? Is it marked or anything or perfect. Havent even seen it yet.... Do you know how many miles are on it? Its only 5speed isnt it?

Right Ok thank you, last question, could I buy the alloys 5x114 and then buy the tryes you said to fit them? Will that work fine and how much will your speedometer be off...Just 1mph or quite a difference? Thanks alot.

Right sorry for sounding thick, but if I buy these alloys they are 5X114 7.5 JX 18" ET40 will they fit and they tyre size is 235/50/18. Or would it be ok if I bought the alloys from there and the tyres from somewhere else. Im confused now dont have a clue what all this means. Thanks for the reply I have no idea what that means, but the website says they supply alloys for any cars, just enter make and model when filling in the postal thing and they will make sure the right ones get to you. Think that sounds ok? Going to change the alloys now to these ones I think. What do you think?

Hi what do you think these alloys will look like on a Black 2010 Journey SE. Need some opinions, getting my car next week and some new alloys will be the first addition, then the tints. Will upload pics when its sorted. Also if you change to 19" alloys from the original 16" what do you need to do? :blink: Will the car still drive fine and the wheels wont scrape on the wheel arches will they? Cheers. Paul
