  1. I don't know about your dealer, but my local dealer replaced both sun visor covers under warranty (with no charge to me). I think that's been the case for other members of the forum that have had the issue. I'd take your Journey to another dealer and see what they can do. If they broke with normal wear and tear, emphasize it.
  2. I'm looking into my state's lemon laws as well. I'm not quite there yet, as this will only be the 2nd repair for the same issue, but I expect that it will not be fixed anytime soon. When I called the dealer to schedule the repair, he told me that he already had 5 Journeys being fixed for a range of issues in the shop and it would be at least a week until he could look at mine. I just finished putting a trash bag over the roof of my car, b/c its supposed to rain this week and somehow I have about a half liter of water that has collected in the rear door panel. As for where to start, my guess is as good as yours. I googled "lemon law" for my state and got about 50 hits.
  3. Well I just got my Journey back after they worked on the sunroof for a week. And guess what, it still leaks, except this time not just in the car wash, but during a light drizzle. They really should issue some sort of recall for this issue. It's kind of ridiculous to have to deal with this in a 5 month old car.
  4. I was thinking about getting option 2 myself. Whatever you end up choosing, would you mind posting some pictures after it's installed? I'd love to see the final product.
  5. According to autoblog.com, it should include a new engine, new interior, freshened exterior, and work on NVH (i guess that means noise, vibration, and harshness).

  7. So far, I've had the following problems (and my Journey is 3 months old). 1: Passenger vanity mirror cover broke off. 2: Sunroof leaks into the interior every time it rains. 3: Creaky headliner on the driver side. 4: Squeaky steering. Overall, these are not major problems and aren't that big a deal. But I've never owned a car with this many problems. Frankly, it's ridiculous.
  8. 1. Finicky transmission with unpredictable acceleration. Sometimes it accelerates fine, others it refuses to shift and leaves me crawling on an interstate onramp. 2. Squeaky headliner on the driver's side (it drives me nuts). Other than that, no big problems.
  9. Unfortunately the 21000 was the price of the vehicle. With TT&L, the price was closer to 23000.
  10. I'm in the same boat as you. I want to upgrade my Journey to the higher tier infinity speakers but can't seem to find any information on how to do it. Keep us updated if you find out anything.
  11. Just got my Journey in last week. It's a black R/T FWD with: Safe and Sound Package Chrome Clad Wheels Flexible Seating Package Sunroof The sticker was around 31000. I ended up buying it last Tuesday from a dealer that was closing and paid just under 21000 without a trade in. It was a great deal and so far I love the car!
