  1. I got my bug deflector put on about 2 months ago. and shortly after that I noticed i really annoying squeaking sound when the body of the vehicle would shift/move. realized it was the bug deflector rubbing on the headlight casing. so they removed it and put in on at a different angle. That seemed to fix the problem for about a week, and since then it has come back. I think it may just be something with the shape of the deflectors mixed with the hood that causes it to rub, may be something we have to live with.
  2. Same thing happened in our as well after about 2,500 km's. They replaced the whole overhead console under warranty. not big issue just annoying.
  3. having spent a number year trying to get this figured out on different vehicles, i asked a local deatiler in town, and the answer i got a few years back was warm water with a soft rag ( face cloth) if you want get rid of any odour add a touch of vinegar to the water. Then if you want a shine choose turtle wax dash cleaner for a shine ( i just use wate, also great on the windows and wont harm any aftermarket tint) For the Rims I have have noticed this asaked before. dish soap works well on "crhome rims". being using it on my 06 f-150 for three years and always comes clean.
  4. Speaking of Jack Kerouc he is my 5th cousin, oh and first here, Wife and I just traded our 06 f-150 in on a 09 journey sxt only 2 options missing are leather and rear seat DVD, love it so far, took it on a 3000 km trip the second day we had it and were very comfortable in it.
