I will certainly keep plastidip in mind if I cant find anything. Can anyone tell me what the bolt pattern and offset are for the stock wheels? I would imagine the offset is the same for all wheel variations.

Awesome thanks guys

Hi all,
I have been thinking for a while of doing something with the trim especially on the dash, gauge surrounds and shifter, but I haven't seen any kits online for making all of it a different color. Has anyone found a kit or painted their trim?
-
I appreciate the offer onecrazyfoo4u! I am actually looking to get them for another car. I have found them in standard aluminum finish, but at 275 a piece, I don't really want to spend the extra money to get them powder coated and I'm not a fan of the flat or matte black color from plastidip.

My 2013 SXT came with blacktop rims, which I love. I am thinking about getting another set. Anyone know where I can find them? Ebay didn't have much.

As far as I know it does both. I haven't gotten my camaro back out yet to test that theory. I have a few sheets left over but my journey is already way more sound proof than my camaro, I figured there may be some weak spots that could use some extra help lol

To all those who have gone the aftermarket exhaust route, I get really annoying vibrations somewhere in my dash and would like them to go away. I just dynamated my 92 camaro but haven't gotten to drive it yet. Anyone done this in their journey? Any particular places I should focus on?

The one I bought is a K&N Series 69 Typhoon part number 69-2546ts

I highly recommend getting rid of the stock plastic intake it is incredibly restricting. Although k&n doesn't make a kit for our cars, I got one for a 2013 avenger with the same engine and I love it. Its incredibly docile and quiet until you stick your foot in it, and I do get almost 28 mpg highway and 20 city from my 3.6, which is about 4 mpg improvement. I don't know how to add photos to my post but there is one in my profile. The kit is a k&n typhoon in case anyone is interested. I will record some videos tomorrow if anyone wants to hear it

Anyone know if you can add nav to a system that came without it? I didn't want to pay the extra few grand to get it from the dealer, just curious if I can get it aftermarket or put in a new unit that has nav

Sorry man I wish I could help but I haven't had any of these noises. Although I do have a 2013 so maybe you got them to fix whatever was wrong for my year lol. I hope by now you got the sounds sorted out

I took the headrests out today and found out the rattling id actually coming from the plastic brackets that hold the headrests in. Does anyone know how to remove them?
-
I decided I'm going to do it, just a matter of if I want to do it myself or have someone else do it. I'll post an update when its done
-
I thought it might be from the headrest. I will pop it out and see if I can find the problem. My mother was riding in the back and she said it sounded just like an acorn rolling around in the bed of my fathers truck. I just bought the car so hopefully nothing is broken. Thanks for the help guys

I have noticed this too and I believe it is the granny kicking in. When you break hard the tranny can be used to slow the car down faster, you commonly downshift standards this way to reduce break wear. Its not anything to worry about these trannys are built like rocks

Does anyone else have a really annoying rattling in the headrest of their middle row of seats? I believe its coming from the single fold down seat and its only the headrest but its really annoying. It does go away when the seats are down but that doesn't help me if I'm taking people in my car. Any thoughts, solutions?

Hi all,
I recently purchased a 2013 Dodge Journey SXT 3.6L and I have to say I love it! The only thing that bothers me is that it looks great, but the exhaust doesn't really sound great. I was thinking of doing a resonator delete and just filling the gap with straight tube. I've seen some videos of this done on avengers and chargers with the same motor, has anyone done this on their journey yet?
DIY Crossroad-like Tail Lights

I love the crossroad tail lights. I had mine tinted for a while but got tired of the look. If the red of the lights was a little darker than the red of my car, I would be happy. Anyone know where I can get a cheaper set of replacement light housings? Rock auto has them for over 100/pc. If I could get them cheaper I might consider it. Thanks for the feedback!
