  1. Thanks Journeyman. Later this year new tires, and new brakes (slotted for me), and dipping the stock wheels. Yes it's a TTA, 20th anniversary, just about fully restored, just need emblems. Can I make another album here? If so I can post some pics as well.
  2. I haul my trash as there is no pick up here, and there is bounce, and you do feel the movement, but the 100-200 lbs. of trash is all the way in the back of the trailer. Also don't forget wind resistance plays a big part.
  3. I agree with you guys. I've owned dozen or more vehicles, modding is fun, and like to be different. But yes first thing I do before I leave the dealership is take off all the dealer stickers and plate frames right in front of them too! But as far as the stripes or adding Mopar decals, and such. Dodge vehicles have been very good to me. For instance my Stage 3 SRT4, has never let me down and stranded, and has beat a Camaros, mustangs, and a vet, not to mention imports as well, for that proud to put on decals and Mopar items, and say its a Neon, lol. In the few months we owned the Journey, and already put 6k miles on it, and gets 22-26 mpg, it deserves a few mods, I get attached to vehicles, and after a while they are named once they earn their place in the stable, ha I know I'm a car nut.
  4. Thanks for the advice, yes prep work is key first, then coverage. Just like painting a car, and we painted a few. I will post as soon as this is done, but first dipping my atv for practice.
  5. Thanks RedLine, my wife really likes it as well. She wasn't sure at first too. I'm going to post a pic from front view hood.
  6. Was going to powder coat, but dipping can be removed, and change color if wanted. My brother went to talk to Fonzie, at dip my car down south FL.They have a whole car and wheels 3 years running dipped. And for $50 I'll give it a try, but thanks for that info.
  7. As long as the wife likes it, its good with me. It's here car, lol. Going to dip the stock wheels and add gloss enhancer next.
  8. I like how you did yours. But I'm looking for the dodge side stripes, like on the challenger. Just wanting to see if anybody did it yet and position.
  9. Has anybody put the dual Dodge stripes on their Journey? I'm going to get flat red stripes, and kind of wanted to see if other people put any on and where abouts? Any pics will be appreciated. The dual stripes that go on the driver side fender and hood. Thanks.
  10. Sorry for the late replies, haven't been on in a while. Yes the wiring and box all fit behind the driver rear light. I've pulled my trailer with it a few times and am very pleased. Got 2" ball all included, I never really recommend anything, but was really impressed with the ease of install, and $. The 4 pin connector, at least mine came with a cover lope, so I put it through the chain hook up and close, and it stays in place. Glad to see more people purchased this hitch, well worth the money!
  11. Thought I'd share, changed the oil, 6 quarts 10w30 Valvoline SynPower, Fram filter, Seafoamed old oil for 50 miles first, and Seafoamed half tank of fuel. wix cabin filter, and K & N drop in air filter. Went to GA to pick up some dogs, highest mpg 26.7, averaged 25.5 mpg. We love our DJ! Our 4th Mopar, and till this day none have let us down.
  12. Yeap wd-40 the hangers, easy as pie. I did not have to go to the dealer for anything, the wiring kit was all plug and plug. Just had to tap the ground wire behind the driver rear light, the kit even came with the self tapper screw.
  13. Will do, thanks for the advice. Hope it is that simply.
  14. Phone and MP3 player, on screen the USB is faded. Like its not even there.
