It looks good on there! I bought the Black Mopar T-Handle shifter but I haven't had the time to figure out how the factory handle comes off.
Its easy - lookup this forum, Ive had the same question answered.

After the headlight was retrofitted, hi beam is provided by the same bi xenon projector. So the test result is:
If low beam on - flash works as it is the same projector that drops the curtain.
If low beam is off and the vehicle in P - flash works via LED driving light - the LED DRL just turns on and off
If low beam is off and the vehicle is in D - flash doesn't work as the LED DRL is already on and doesn't change the output

I took my antenna off and I only picked up two radio stations.
That's what I'm saying: most of sharkfins off eBay are dummies, they have no wiring and antenna inside. This particular unit is an antenna, I didn't lose any fm capability.
Again: I'm not promoting them, just believe they deserve a fair review for a quality product.
-
Even though they market it as antenna for Cherokee / Durango, it fits DJ perfectly.
-
Here you go with the pictures:
Let me know if need more pictures. It is not a dummy chippo, this is an antenna, so I didn't lose radio. Installs on an adhesive over the stock antenna base with one scree to connect to the vehicle. I got mine custom painted to match the vehicle, love the look

Those guys can custom paint to match your paint code, maybe other sources available so far. I don't have any relations to the company, just got a quality product from them. It took a while, though - about 2 months from order to shipment.

I would say go minivan. With 3rd row up I can't fit the foldable chicco stroller. Maybe enough room for moderate grocery shopping, but not for stroller.
T&C or GC will fit much better for 3 kid family, IMHO. T&C is the second vehicle on our family, actually.

Thanks, Powerz69 for getting into details. I'd never be able to explain that better in short.
I actually didn't try to flash having low beam off, will definitely test
Would also try to shoot a short video of all stages of the lights operations installed, in addition to the bench test video. No commitment, though

When I test fitted my retro and put the OEM headlight back in I noticed my factory cutoff is lower by 2" at 5' on one side now. So when you installed your lights did you have lots of adjusting of the headlights? Or did you just install and adjust the lights vertically to line up your cutoff? Your cutoff looks great, very even.
You type faster then I do. LOL
I did have to adjust the vertical alignment, but it is a pretty easy job for anybody, even me. Took less than 5 minutes start to finish, just need a proper place - a wall and and an even floor. Tons of guides on youtube.

Totemus, cut-off looks great! Are these 4300k? They look whiter than the 5000k bulbs I installed in my retrofit... Also, you probably already said, but what projector are you using? One last question...still running trouble free?
Lobitz68,
I decided to go with 5000K. I don't know what bulbs he actually used for the project and didn't have an intention to learn that. Me mechanically and electrically stupid, me know very little about this stuff
What I was quoted for:
55 Watt Digital HIDs (5000K) / Slim Ballasts / 2.5" High Performance Bi-Xenon Projectors / Gatling Shrouds
I don't remember if ever asked him what projectors he used (for the same reasons above). Hope this information could be of help for you. It's not I'm trying to hide something, I honestly just don't know. For me they are just... projectors, you know... If you try to go deep into details about projectors and types with a dummy like me - no use, just wasting time.
So some people who have their hands installed properly, enjoy both the results and the process of their projects. Others, like me, enjoy the results only
Still trouble free. No issues, no flickering, no buzz. They were professionally built and professionally installed. So If I ever decide to sell my Journey, I will have the headlights for sale
The only "issue" - my HID fog lights are now almost useless: projectors are so powerful that I see almost no difference with the fogs on
-
What made you think they are hi beams all the time?
-
-
So here is the feedback I got from Taillightsolutions:
"I am fairly positive that the 2014 Grand Cherokee rear fog kit will work for your application.
Thank you,Ken"The kit is $325 for halogen and $347 for LED. Damn expensive for a pair of connectors and a feet of wires (plus lamps). I think I'm not in the game. -
Did you have any error messages from our beloved canbus?
-
He is good. No issues with the lights at all.
-
No longer available as of September 2014? I got DRL activated by the dealer on my DJ in winter 2014.
-
Thanks to the hint from Kevin in MN I got in contact with Taillight Solutions. They appeared to be very responsive and committed to consider custom craft a kit of rear fogs for DJ. The kit that I requested includes housing, bulbs (led dual intensity) and plug'n'play harness that will use the power from tail lights. You can look on the company's website how the kit works and installation instructions. I think installation with a custom harness should be pretty easy DIY.
Will anybody else, except for me, be interested in the kit so we can talk about the group buy with the company?

Looks great. Any time for pics of the light output on the road or cutoff line on a wall??
Not yet driven in the dark

nice job man
but... probably i'm missing something...
how can you flash with highbeams during the day?
(you know... when on a highway you meet an old man, driving with his hat on, on the left lane, at 10 mph... the highbeams are useful to say "get the f**k ou of my way you d**n a*****e in morse code )
i mean,
it seems that you can use the high beams only when the headlights are on
Am I wrong?
On a highway you will want to have lights on

Those guys sell condoms as well Interesting inventory LOL

I tried a non-adhesive transparent edge guards. They worked well, but on a bright color like mine (white perl), they become very visible as they accumulate dust under and along the edge. I didn't like the look and removed them.

I thought about dressing the underhood, but was doubting the feasibility: how often do I open the hood to enjoy the beauty inside? My conclusion was to skip this as for me it was an investment to make service men happy

Interesting color choices in there... is the car white?
the car is pearl white:
I now have mirror covers and the grey part of the lower grille (don't remember how this is called) painted black. I basically want to keep the 3 color scheme "white-black-red" throughout the vehicle and was disappointed that red front turn signals are illegal . Back are LED red, though

Probably north of $600. The video very clearly states who did them... Sick HIDs.
His particular build is on this page... http://www.sickhids.com/#!chrysler/c1015
That is correct - SickHIDs. You can find his channel on youtube as well.

As promised - putting a short video of lights. I made this video after I installed a light bar in the lower bumper part.
