I , for one, think the color is quite cool! Would love to see one in person.

Thanks Steven. It turned out to be the perfect extra space that we needed. We wanted to move my oldest son home from school together as a family which meant keeping part of the middle seat up. If it were just myself I probably wouldn't have needed the carrier as we could have used the entire rear of the vehicle for cargo. We used the carrier for the soft stuff like clothing, soft suitcases, pillows and bedding - anything that could be squished and folded, basically. The bulky items went in the back. It was tight but it all fit, and the four of us made the trip together so for that reason alone it was worth it.

Sure looks good! I remember when you got it! I did the same thing today - waxed and detailed my Journey. I was going to park it in the same spot that I first photographed it nearly four years ago ands see if anyone can tell the difference!

Not this time. Had to clay bar it last year after it came out of the bodyshop to remove some traces of overspray.

I don"t recall anyone adding any chrome. Mopar makes a set of chrome strips that go on the bottom third of the doors.
Hockeypuck's got 'em:

Make sure you reset your fuel economy average when you fill the tank. The 437 mile value is based upon that 30.8 MPG average. The pic is sort of misleading. I reset it at my last fuel fill about 15 miles prior to the photo, and drove without having to stop at about 45 mph so yes, the economy number would be artificially high at that point. In the warm weather months we average about 24 MPG per tank. I reset it after every fill up. If you had a problem with the with the fuel pump module/level sensor assembly, it would illuminate the check engine light. If it is not on, then your system is working normally.

Did it come with those wheels? They are the same as on the Grand Cherokee Overland here in the US.

That looks like a nice speaker. What's the frequency response? Did you replace all four door speakers with them? How do they sound?
-
I enjoyed your album, watching your DJ go from base to race! Nice job.

How do they ride and handle compared to the Kumho? How's the noise level?
-
Looks very cool!

We had no issues with snow last year. FWD Crew with 19" Kumho's . My 300M with 17" Michelins is a little more sure-footed in snow but we had no problem getting around last year with the Journey. Nice color!

Great pictures, beautiful car. As you may know, I'm partial to Copper Pearl!

I have to say I enjoyed re-living some of the anticipation of the arrival of a new car as we waited for yours to be built and delivered!

Congratulations - that is so nice! Love the Redline color!

Sweet!

I think that's a very tasteful, sporty update to the look of your Journey - really underscores the Dodge image. I would also love to see pics of your Turbo Trans Am - that's a 20th Anniversary car, isn't it? It has the GTA look with a modified Buick GNX drivetrain, correct?

That's a good-looking Caliber. The 18" wheels and tires really make a difference.

LOVE that red! Beautiful car - I know you'll enjoy it immensely!

Wow, that is one black car! Nice.
-
The only thing better than a Journey is...two Journeys! Nice.

Looks even better when you click on "options" to the right of the photo and make the picture larger! Nice car.

Hey RT Man - good to see you too. I know I've been scarce on these pages but I still love my DJ. 155K miles, recently put four shocks and new Michelins all around, just did the exhaust cam on the front cylinder bank for the cam and lifter tick, and it runs smooth and silent once again - until three weeks ago when it got hit yet again. This is the third time in the bodyshop ( it got hit twice in two weeks several years ago and we combined those two repairs) and it's being repaired yet again. But we still love it and have no plans to sell or trade it.
