I'm sorry for the late reply. I'm not on here much at all these days. I checked your VIN - in order to make the DRL work, sales code LMK must be added to your Journey's configuration, and then a reconfiguration procedure performed. I used to be able to add the sales code, but the factory has removed it from the sales code list a few years ago. I'm sorry that I'm not able to help you with this.

Would you know any FCA group site that can add sales code? I went to a FIAT reseller and the same does not have access to the dealer connect. Can you check with my VIN which options are available to enable? I would like to enable all, my reseller has access to the witech, but not to the dealer connect.

If you have installed a Mopar Remote start system in your car, then I can add the sales code to your VIN. Unfortunately, a screen shot of the sales codes is not available. When you enter a VIN, there is a pull down menu and the codes are listed one by one. The layout of the page would not show the codes in a screen shot.

XBM is the only code I can add. In the US, WiTech is needed to restore the vehicle after a code is added.

What sales code(s) are you looking to add? I can add codes for you if they are available, and then all you need to do is go to a dealer to have your vehicle reconfigured.

(VIN number available upon request, don't feel comfortable posting it to an open forum location). If there is another technique that might be used to add daytime running lights to this vehicle please let me know. My internet searching suggests the LMK option is available for this minivan when ordered for fleet applications, how to add that seems to be a bit of a mystery.

We used to be able to change the Country Code in the vehicle's BCM from US to Canada on the older vehicles which would enable DRL. I can do it on my 2000 300M, but I don't think that's allowable in the newer models with the current CAN-Bus networked wiring architecture. We attempted that on a newer Ram truck but there was no provision for it.

Sorry to inform you that there is no LMK sales code available for me to add. I think this code may have been permanently revoked by Chrysler. It has been unavailable for me to add for well over a year now, which was longer than the last hiatus. I sometimes wonder if they got wind of me adding it to people's Journeys all over the country? In your case, however, it's possible that it isn't available since your T&C is equipped with HID headlamps which use a different setup than the standard Halogen lamp system. I'll keep you posted if the code should ever resurface. I'll make an announcement in the Forum thread dedicated to the topic.

I'm can a Manual driver seat be replaced with a Power Seat? Computer Flash needed, or is this an impossible task?

I'd have to look into this. If the wiring is present, it may work with a software flash. There is the possibility that the body control module may not recognize a power seat regardless of any added sales codes.

Any Chrysler Group dealer can add available sales codes to a VIN. The vehicle need not be present to add codes to the VIN, but the vehicle must be at a dealership in order to be reconfigured to recognize the new codes. Hope this is helpful.

Driver side climate control works fine, passenger side is only blowing hot air. This is one of several issues I've had with my 2014 journey and the dealership's have me ready to trade this thing in and go back to a ford, which I had before with no problems. I'm not married to a brand but I'm on the verge of dumping dodge. Anyone have any idea if it's computer related or a simple fix?

Sounds like a blend door is not closing There are calibration tests that can be performed on the HVAC system to determine where the fault is. May require a simple recalibration of the HVAC system, a software flash, or possibly a blend door actuator. Diagnosis and repair for this concern should not be difficult. Should still be under warranty as long as the mileage is under 36K. No service bulletins or STAR cases that I can see.

Can you please (if possible) find out from engineers, if it possible replace regular head light bulbs with LED light bulbs.
Also can you, please (if possible again) to find from engineers, what this following errors mean, and how to be fixed:
1) B162E-11 RIGHT LOW BEAM CONTROL-CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
2) B162E-15 RIGHT LOW BEAM CONTROL-CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY OR OPEN
3) B162A-11 LEFT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUNDhere is my VIN:3C4PDCGG2GT191893

As far as I know, the vehicle will set fault codes for LED lights because it's not configured to accept them. LED or HID lights are not optional on a Journey, so the resistance values are likely setting these codes.
Engineering will not assist in solving issues with aftermarket parts - sorry!

Hi Journeyman, Just wanted to send you a quick question on a threadthat closed earlier this year in regards to changing out a headlight switch and converting it to an auto setup. I switched the switched to an auto version and tested the automode. Is it supposed to work after the switch without a flash done to the system?

Easily done, they just have to add the sales codes and reconfigure the car to enable the features.

Hi Journeyman425. I just bought a 2015 Journey SXT with Uconnect 4.3 REB and I stopped at the dealer today. They told me they could activate the Daytime Running Lights, but it would cost $98.00. I called two other dealers and the prices they quoted were $118 and $139. All 3 told me that I would have to bring the car in early and leave it for a couples of hours. When I came home, I found the post on DRL and saw that in May, you still could not load the sales code. None of them told me it was not available, but I was not confident in their knowledge. Since the last post I saw dated May 7th, is the code available now?
Also is the amount of money they want appropriate or way too much? Also I am reading about the trailer hitch and would like that activated too, if it is available. I will have to check under it tomorrow to see what I have or don't have.

Sorry for the late reply - busy week! I don't get on the Forum much anymore these days.
Still no sales code LMK for DRL - sorry. But I did add AHC which will enable power to your trailer wiring should you ever add a hitch. The dealer still has to restore your vehicle for the code to be picked up and installed, but it's there.
NO known front end issues with this car. Occasionally we'll replace an outer tie rod end but that's found usually at an oil change service when we check the car over. Most times people don't know about it unless they complain of a clunk or rattle in front end. If the shimmy persists with new tires, chances are the new tires were not balanced properly. Re-balancing them should help, an inspection of the wheels on the balance machine for an out of round condition or dent would also be in order.

Please reply with the last eight digits of your VIN and the approximate mileage so I can check sales codes for you. I checked two weeks ago and still no DRL sales code available. However, I can always add the trailer tow codes for you so if and when you have that installed, all the dealer will have to do is reconfigure your Journey (also known as a Restoration) and the power to the wiring will be enabled.
The rates you were quoted were likely minimum labor charges (typically one hour). The restoration process takes all of about fifteen minutes, but some dealers will not charge less than an hour minimum. Your selling dealer, in my opinion, really should do this for you as a courtesy as it is so simple. That's how we roll, but some places don't see it that way, unfortunately.
