  1. i've got 255/50r19 on my journey, on stock wheels for the past 20k miles. they fit the stock rims just fine, but there is some slight rub in the front if i crank the wheel all the way and back up it rubs the strut slightly
  2. oh, and just an offtopic "lol" to cccacher - beretta is a chevy not a pontiac you silly
  3. i've bought used tires before plenty of times. and ya know what, sometimes in a pinch when you've got 19" wheels and a tire is punctured and not repairable you really have no other choice but to scrounge around for whatever you can find (and "nobody" stocks new 19" tires, especially not the size we're "supposed" to have on these journeys) i stepped up my tire size to 255/50 19, with this used set - i'm glad i did because for $100 for a set of 4 i can decide if i like how they feel, if the clearance is enough, and if i'm going to get this size again. $100 is a much nicer price for an experiment than $1,000. ps: i've now put 20,000 miles on these experimental used tires, which is more than i got out of the first set of kumho's that the thing came stock with.
  4. i've got 255/50 19" on currently - they were no problem to get on the stock rims. they feel a lot nicer, a lot stiffer than the stock tires. the wider tires grip into any groove in the road, so be wary of that if i crank the wheel and back up there is a slight rub - they're not too tall, they're too wide and i think rub slightly against the strut, i'll probably go to a 245 next time i think
  5. hi guys! so i have just had this hitch installed on my 2012 journey. is the hitch pin hole supposed to be in a weird spot or did i get a defective part??? i will do my best to explain the "situation" if i lay down under the journey and look up, there are the two bars that go side to side horizontally and bolt to the frame, and in the center is the vertical reciever part (typical). BUT there are no holes on the outside, to insert a hitch pin. if i look up inside the vertical part i can see 2 holes, and the 2 holes are inside the horizontal part. so how do i put a hitch pin in? or is this not how it is supposed to be?
